so as you can tell, i kind of gave up on finishing my stories and such.

I actually got out of the whole fan fiction phase years ago, but wanted to keep writing and finished the stories I already started bc no ones like cliffhangers, yanno? But I just don't have the time and energy to write as much as I used to, plus I don't even listen to atl or ship merrikat anymore so it looks like this book has come to its end.

BUT !! I can tell and explain what was gonna happen in this story so it doesn't *technically* end on a cliffhanger. So it's gonna sound like spoilers when in reality it's just what I was going to write if I wasn't so lazy. I'll talk about the arc of the three main characters (Jack, Kellin, and Tony), then explain how it ends.

-

Kellin:
(I don't remember if I made this clear in the story or not but) He does fool around with Mr. Fuuentes for a whole despite acting grossed out about it to Tony and Jack's faces. After a while, Mr. Fuentes does break things off with him, to Kellin's surprise, which Kellin obviously isn't happy about. This leaves him desperate for someone, a teacher figure preferably, to replace Vic, so he started flirting with Rian and trying to get his attention. One day, Jack caught him in the act, and the two got into an intense fight which lead to Zack finding out something unexpected (which I'll get to later in Jack's description). Out of frustration at Jack, Kellin ended up being the one to rat out Zack and Jack's relationship (which I will also get to later). After all of this, Jack and Kellin aren't friends anymore and I didn't really plan on them to make up by the end of the book.

Tony:
I actually wasn't planning on tony and mike to get together by then end of the book :/ despite Tony discretely crushing on him, he'd eventually find out that mike is a full blown hetero and he has no chance at all with him. After Jack and Kellin stopped being friends, Tony became the one that was always there for Kellin despite them always arguing with each other in the story. I had a scene in planned where Jack calls Tony one day and it eventually lead to Jack joking about Tony and Kellin dating (even though at the end, it wouldn't revealed that Jack kind of wanted them together). Tony starts to ponder of why he keeps his attention on someone he has no chance with (aka mike) when the love of his life was right next to him (aka Kellin). Kellin also ponders over why he keeps getting his heart broken by teachers when he could be with someone his age. Tony and Kellin become a couple by the end of the story :)

Jack & Zack:
I'll go ahead and get these two things out of the way:

1) no, Zack doesn't go to jail because of his relationship with Jack because they were very clever at hiding it and making it seem like a false accusation :)
2) yes, Jack and Zack stay together in the end. Though they do have major conflicts to where Zack almost ended things, they somehow stay together.

anyways, Jack has casually been juggling school, work, and his relationship for a while until his fight with Kellin in school. In detail of why it happened, Rian told jack about what has happened between him and Kellin without realizing how much it genuinely upset Jack. The next day right after school, Jack caught Kellin in the bathroom and well, they had a fist fight. Zack heard the sounds down the hallway, managed to break it up before serious damage could be made, and contacted both of their parents. Calling kellin's was easy, but jack tried to do everything he can to make sure Zack didn't try to call his parents. Zack looks in the school's student database to find out that Rian was labeled as Jack's guardian and not Jack's parents he remember from freshman year. After jack explained everything (which I'll explain in a sec) Zack sees Jack as a completely different person and isn't sure if he wants to be with him anymore, so they take a break. During their break was when Kellin ratted them out as a couple, so the break didn't last long before they had to get their stories straight to make sure Zack doesn't go to jail. The police investigated zack's classroom, house, and asked a bunch of questions to both him and jack before finalizing that Kellin sent a false accusation. A few weeks after this, Jack shows up at Zack's house uninvited, does one last plea, and book, they're together again.

However, due to the whole police situation, neither of them showed up to Rian's (the club) on a Wednesday where cops were patrolling, and all employees who did show up got caught and were arrested for working an illegal club. The police eventually got to jack and Zack as well, and they ended up behind bars too.

Rian and Vic worked together to bail everyone out (luckily, bails on running illegal clubs happened to be quite cheap). Vic only wanted to help because new girlfriend, Danielle, was one of the ones who got locked up. The club never restarted, but Zack and Jack did open up a "legal" bar where everyone who used to work at the club got a new job.

So by the end of the story, Rian's would cease to exist, Jack and Kellin would stop being friends, Kellin and Tony would become an item, Vic would forgive Zack, and Zack managed not to kill rian (per Jack's request) after hearing about how rian became Jack's adoptive father. Oh, and Jack and Zack are hella gay. The end.

Jack's Backstory

Probably the part y'all were waiting for since a lot of you wanted to hear about jack and Rian's relationship so !! here it goes:

One night during his freshman year, Jack was just coming from from his first concert with some friends he made not too long ago (aka Tony and Kellin). He comes home to his older sister, May, crying her eyes out about a note she got. Apparently her and Jack's parents left them for good due to his dad getting into some problems with a mob. Their parents decided to leave so that may and jack remained safe. Though it was never mentioned straightforward on the letter, may and jack knew that their parents were shot and killed.

May and Jack were sent to an orphanage, but jack refused to stay in one. He ran away from the orphanage, leaving May behind (that was the last time he'd see her until the chapter in this book where they meet and have that argument). He was homeless for a while, until a man found him on the street and took him in his home. After letting him use his shower and stay with him for the night, Jack would find out that the mans name is Rian. After learning about why jack was homeless, Rian decided to officially adopt him and became Jack's guardian.

Though jack didn't know it at the time, Rian was expecting some type of payment back from jack, since he basically let jack stay in his house as if it was Jack's, and saved him when he was in the streets. Since jack had no job and had missed the last month of school, Rian wanted to repaid in ... sexual manners, so jack kind of became Rian's sex slave, despite jack only being 15 at the time.

This goes on for months until Rian's 5 year project has finally been finished—his own underground club named Rian's, after himself—and was ready to accept employees. During the auditions for dancers was where he met Ash, Hayley, brendon, and most importantly, Alex (it was kind of a "like at first sight" thing ... yeah). Those four, including jack, became known as the First Five, since they were the first five dancers at Rian's (Tay was hired as the bartender as well). At this point, rian basically "trained" jack to please him whenever he asked, obey to every command, and tend to all of his needs. Jack didn't seem to mind it too much, because at the time, he did see rian as his savior and felt he had to do all of this for him as a thank you.

Eventually though, Jack sort of got thrown to the curb when rian started fucking Alex. Jack didn't enjoy dancing as much if he had no one to dance for (since he only agreed to be a dancer for rian's sake), so he asked for a different position, and Rian agreed to make him a co owner of the club. Alex thought it wasn't fair that jack got to stop dancing and he didn't, so Alex became a co owner as well, to Jack's demise. this book picks up about six months after they became co owners.

i think that's all ?? that's all I had in my notes so uh, hopefully that answered all of the questions you had about how a certain story was going to end, etc. I'm sorry i never get to finish this book—as you can see, i had a lot planned for it—but all good things come to an end, i guess. Thank you all for reading and ily all :)
