sorry for the long awaited update, but I actually finished writing this a while back but kind of scrapped the whole chapter and rewrote most of it. as I said in the previous chapter, there was gonna be a time hop, so throughout most of this chapter there's multiple time hops, where the last one is the day before school starts back.

I don't think a lil summary is needed since this chapter happens a couple weeks after the one prior, but if you forgot what happens in the last chapter: basically jack gave zack the succ

The past few weeks have been going well for once. The routine of waking up, hanging with Tony or Kellin, going to work and back does get tedious, but something surprising always ends up happening in between.

Today was Sunday, which meant I didn't have to work. I usually clean up the house and run forgotten errands on today, but registration for school started a few hours ago. I always do mine online (because I can't really go to the school and do it for reasons), so that's the first item on today's checklist.

Summer hasn't really been so fun this year. Last year was even worse, so I won't complain too much; I am taking a road trip to Myrtle Beach today with Kellin and Tony (and whoever else they end up inviting), so I guess that can be fun. We planned this trip since April, when me and Kellin's favorite band announced a show there. We dragged Tony along, because why not? He claims he doesn't like Mayday Parade, but I'm sure he's just trying to be rude again.

I packed my stuff last night, so I don't really have to worry about that now. I did have to go get a haircut today and do my registration of course, but besides that, I'm ready for this trip and the beach. It's always nice to get a away from Baltimore for once.

After getting ready, I called Kellin so we could go to the barber's. He wanted to get his hair dyed black, which would be different from the natural brown color he has now. I told him he would look like a scene kid if he did, and he ignored me. He also wants to grow it out so I told him he'd look even more like one. I think he was mad at me for the rest of that day.

"Kellin, you ready?" I asked as soon as I heard that he answered. Not that I was in a rush, but I did promise Zack that I'd meet up with him before we left, and I do plan on doing some stuff with him.

"Yeah, I'm on the way. Don't rush me again, you butt," He said back before hanging up. Well gees, someone's cranky.

I sighed and put my phone back in my pocket before going to my desktop to do registration and wait on Kellin. We were driving his car there, so I dragged my bags and other belongings to the front of the house when I heard him honk his car horn a billion times.

"Quit it Kellin, I'm right here." I sarcastically said. He honked the horn again.

"Whatever, I just got back from registration with my mom. We're gonna head out to get our haircuts, then I'm going to go pick up Tony while you and Zack do inappropriate things, and start the road trip. You have the tickets, right?" Kellin asked. I hate how he's naturally smart and always organized. I mean, I love that he is, but I hate that I'm not.

"Yeah, they're in my work bag," I told him while throwing my things in the trunk of his car.

"You're bringing your work bag? how old are you again?" He asked and laughed. I mumbled 'old enough to fuck your bitch' under my breath, but luckily Kellin didn't hear anything. Once everything was packed, we left for the haircuts.

"Is it that bad?" Kellin asked, looking in the mirror again. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
