Over the past week, things have been a little off. Both in and out of work. Kellin and Tony have been less chattery around me, and Rian won't talk to me as much. I know he's getting prepared for his new job as our school's new calculus teacher--regardless of it being the middle of summer at the giving moment--but that doesn't mean he doesn't have time to talk to me. I need to be really good friends with him if I want to ace his class next school year. Of course, that's not the only reason I'm talking to him...at least I hope not.

At work, all of the employees are doing fine; it's just that Zack's been a little on edge. Ever since I told him that Mr. Fuentes called while he was out of town, he's been coming to work less happy and more serious. I don't know if it's from anger or annoyance, but it's kind of hot.

All four of the new interns I interviewed last week got the job, and I had to show them around Rian's before we opened for the night. It's a Friday night, which means it should be packed with a younger audience. It would've been smarter to bring them Wednesday when we were steering clear of the cops, but Zack didn't want that to happen on their first day, so Friday will do.

I put my work stuff in the office before re-meeting the four interns at the front. All four of them were looking around before I came back to them.

"Okay guys, to start the tour, here's the actual club spot. I'm pretty sure I don't need to explain what this part is, so let's just focus on other parts of the place. Follow me."

All four of them nodded and walked with me over to our next destination. "This is the bar. Workers are allowed here after their performances. You'll most likely see me here in closing hour every night. By the way, Justin, you'll be watching Tay here later." I explained, Justing nodding afterwards. He was the only one out of the four that signed up as something else besides a dancer.

"Okay," He nodded. I walked to the spot adjacent to the bar along with the interns.

"This little spot here is where our drug dealer, Mike, stands. Regardless of drinks being allowed to underage workers, drugs aren't. However, if you're over eighteen then you don't need a license to buy any." I explained. The red-head girl poured at my explanation, whilst the brunette raised her hand.

"Yes?..." I stalled, forgetting her name.

"It's Lynn," she reminded me. I smiled, letting her continue. "How are drinks legal to underage workers but drugs aren't?"

"Zack doesn't like kids doing drugs, but he doesn't mind drinking. There wasn't a drug dealer before Zack owned this place, so the previous boss didn't have much to do with the rule," I mentioned. She nodded and smiled.

"Okay, through this door is headquarters. People who don't work here aren't allowed unless it's like a close friend or something." I explained while opening the door. I walked down the semi-narrow hall to where the lounges were.

"These are the lounges. One has some couches and a water machine, while the other has a mirror and bathroom. When workers aren't on stage or at the bar, they're most likely hanging out back here either getting ready to go on stage, or just waiting  for the night to over with. You'll sometimes see me in here along with them." The kid with spiky black hair and a blond streak raised his hand. I remembered his name, thanks to me not hearing it often.
