I walked into the club and it was actually full of people. It's never usually this packed unless a big party is happening or something, which I doubt is happening. And if it is, then I'm curious to what's the celebration about.

I went over to the bar to get a drink before going into Zack's office. Zack's Office. That's definitely something I'd have to get used to. Anyways, Tay was there mixing a drink for Alex, someone I thought--and hoped--I'd never see again.

He looked over at me and rolled his eyes. I never will know why that kid hates me. The feeling is mutual, but at least I have my reasons. From what I know, he doesn't.

"Why are you here? You're too young to drink," Alex said while grabbing his now finished mixture from Tay.

"Yeah, because seventeen-year-olds can't drink at an illegal underage bar." I sarcastically replied, then looked towards Tay. "I'll have the original, thanks."

"On it, Boss." She replied while making the drink. I smiled at Alex before pulling out my phone and mindlessly checking it. He should be banned from here, in my opinion. He quitted an illegal job. Can't he rat us out or something?

Tay handed me the drink and I made my way to headquarters. I heard talking from the outside, so I quietly peeked through the slightly opened door to see Zack talking to Mike.

"So I think that's all the rules you'll need for now. You'll start your job tomorrow. Any questions?"

"Not at all, Mr. Me-"

"Zack..."

"Oh, right. I'll just call you boss. That's easier. Anyways, I have a cat that I have I go home and take care of, so..."

"Oh, right, you're free to go. Just remember that you start work tomorrow at ten."

"Ok boss, see ya."

Mike walked out of the office just in time for me to stop eavesdropping. He opened the door and smiled at me before heading back home, I guess. He probably stayed a little longer and got a few drinks or something. Anyways, I walked into Zack's office to see a bright smile on his face. If this is how happy he's going to be everyday, then he's already a better boss then Rian.

"Hey, Jack! Just the person I'm looking for," Zack asked while looking at some papers. "I have some people that I'm considering hiring, but I'll be in Georgia around the time of their interviews. Do you think you'll be able to check them out for me?"

I was amused at how he only started a few hours ago and already managed to get people to work here. How did he even do that? I guess they sent applications in when Rian was in charge but he forgot the check them. Snapping out of thought, I looked back and Zack and smiled.

"Sure. What day?"

"On Wednesday. You're free that day, right?" He replied.

"I'm seventeen. I'm free all the time," I replied while sitting down. "You're quite busy, aren't you?"

Zack looked up at me and smiled. "I guess you can say that; Rian really did leave me a lot of work. At least I managed to hire Mike and give Tay a raise."

"That's good. Tay deserved a raise a long time ago; she has to deal with drunk bastards repeatedly asking her for alcohol." I commented.

"Yeah, that's why I gave her one. I'm not so sure about hiring Mike, though...how is a teenager so invested in drugs?"

I shrugged. " I have no clue, but I'm pretty sure he'll do fine."

"Right," Zack replied while still looking at the applications. I didn't know if I should bring up last night or not. According to Rian, me and Zack got a bit inappropriate, but if we did then wouldn't he bring it up or something? He is my boss; if he had a problem with it then he'd bring it up. Fuck it, I guess I will have to bring it up.

"Last night was pretty fun, don't you say?" Zack asked before I could even get a word out. I didn't know if I was supposed to agree with him because he's my boss, or disagree with him because of what happened. I was a little shook at the fact that he brought it up.

"Uh, yeah. I guess you can say that." I replied while chucking nervously...I think.

"Yeah, I just wish I remember all of it instead of chunks of it." He said while putting the applications in a folder. I wanted to shout 'Wait...what?!' out of confusion, but o managed to control myself.

"Wait, what all do you remember?" I asked him. He had a look on his face like he was trying to remember what did happen.

"Uh...I got dunk, then You walked in, everyone greeted you and screamed happy birthday at you; I got even more drunk, threw up a little, went on the dance floor, and that's all my brain managed to remember." He listed. So he didn't remember it either? Good. It's like it didn't even happen.

"Oh, I didn't remember much either. After you guys made me take seventeen shots it was haywire from there." I said while smiling; Partially from what I said actually being funny, and partially from the relief of Zack not remembering what happened.

"Of course. Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I gotta go check on the employees; you stay here." He said while getting up and going to the door. I sat back in my chair and started playing with the pens on his desk.

"Okie dokie, boss." I replied, him rolling his eyes at the comment.

yes hi hello it's been a while

I'm actually gonna be more active on wattpad since I don't use vine anymore !! it's gonna be lit

anyways sorry this chapter was a lil short; I really got to get back in the swing of things lmao but I'm writing a new fic and it involves a transboy Jack! here's the description for it:

Ignoring your best friend for a year isn't the smartest thing to do. Keeping your gender and sexuality from them isn't smart either. Jack however, did both of these things without the concern of what his best friend, Zack, would think. Jack didn't even plan on telling him until they unintentionally meet again in during their college years.

so yeah. It's gonna be called Gold and it should be published in December. anyways I'm going to go write more stuff while I'm on a roll.
