anyways I finished this like last week so here. I'm going to take a nap.

I honestly wanted to punch myself in the face right now. This was a joke, right? There's no way Rian actually talked Mr. Merrick into owning a business like this. There's no way he's my new boss.

"You work here?" Mr. Merrick, or Zack, asked. I rolled my eyes and scoffed.

"You work here?!" I shouted back. I was fuming. No teachers were supposed to know I work here, and now two teachers did. Saying this was too much was a complete understatement.

"He's going to be one of my employees?" Mr. Merrick asked Rian. I glared at him, waiting on him to answer. If I have to step back down to working here, I'm quitting. He knows that.

"No...he's a co-owner. Remember me telling you that you'll have two co-owners? Well, there's one of them." Rian said, gesturing to me. As weight lifted off of my shoulders, I looked at Mr. Merrick and gave him an arrogant smile. He sighed.

"I didn't know you technically own this place!" Mr. Merrick yelled from panicking.

"I didn't know you were taking over this place!" I shot back. Why is he so pissed about me being here? He's acting like I was going to just tell him I was underage and working at an illegal club.

"I'm guessing you guys ran into each other last time he was here?" Rian quietly asked, not wanting to delve into the tension.

"We did." I said while looking back at Rian.

"Well that's nice. Zack, I'll officially sign the business over to you next week," He said while getting up and taking the paperwork from Mr. Merrick,"Jack, remember to come in tomorrow night while I'm out of town. See you guys later." Rian quickly said while leaving. That bastard! He can't just drop a bomb like that and leave.

I got up and walked straight to Mr. Merrick. I was not about to get it trouble because of him. I went a year without any authority knowing, and he's not about to screw that up.

"If anyone from school finds out that I work here, I'm going to the police." I told him sternly. He looked back at me with a stern, intimidating face. I would've been turned on it I wasn't fuming with anger right now.

"If anyone at school finds out that I work here, I'm going to the police." He said right back. He had a point. Not only am I underage and working at a club, I'm underage and working at an illegal club. I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever." I said while walking past him. I was so irritated right now. I went from only two friends knowing I work here, to two teachers also knowing I work here. What's next? The principal? I walked into the usual lounge that Ash and Hayley are in. I can tell they just got off stage.

"How was the show?" I asked them.

"It was great! Not a huge crowd, but it was still amazing." Hayley answered.

"You talked to Rian?" Ash brought up. I sighed.

"Yeah. I think you guys are having a meeting on who the new boss is." I reminded them. They nodded.

"Yeah, it's tomorrow after the club closes." Ash mentioned. I guess he also mentioned that at the meeting I walked out of.
