Jefflyn and Nonsense!!!!

Chapter 5

Katelyn's POV

I was strolling through the house as I just got back from Nicole's house. When I went back, I saw it... Jeffory was kissing another girl. His back was to me and the girl was holding him. I pretended that I didn't see him and headed to Nicole's once more.

A while later, I went back. "Hey, Katelyn!" Jeffory ran down to greet me. He attempted to give me a kiss, but I pushed him away. Jeffory and I had a bit of a bond like that. We were almost dating. "What's wrong?" He whimpered in the corner of the room. "Nothing." I've seen this trick too many times. I knew he didn't actually care. I went for a shower and put my finished homework down. It was late in the night. I went for a plan.

At night, when Jeffory was snoring, I took off. I took all my belongings and left only Abby a note...

Dear Abby,

Don't show anyone this note. Especially your brother. I left. I won't say where, but write to me by putting a note on your pillow when you do. It won't work if you tell someone. I know if did.

I left to Nicole's house. She would take me in.

I'm going to live at Nicole's house for a bit.

Jeffory's POV

Guess who my science partner was. Alex. She even had the nerve to kiss me. EW! I felt like someone was watching, though. Katelyn was acting different today. There was a hunk of ice around her heart that I couldn't get to.

"WHERE IS THE GIRL!!!!" I was yelling in the morning when Katelyn disappeared. Abby was biting her lip. "Abby?" She quivered. "I promised I wouldn't tell. " She said. I hope she was at school.

She was at school, but she wouldn't say hi to me. When I got to homeroom, the teacher announced something. "The science partners changed. Katelyn with Jeffory, Alex with Nicole." Nicole looked disgusted and Alex looked mad. "Look. Jerk. This is the only reason I am talking to you. I can't believe you still are this dense. You really are a bad kid. I-" I cut her off by kissing her. She tried to squirm out of my grasp, but couldn't until I stopped. All the girls were dead on the floor and Alex was being a diva and complaining while Nicole was covering her ears and cowering in fear.  I didn't see Katelyn since

Katelyn's POV

This is too much for me. When I got home, I read my diary. One page had a different signature on it...

I can't believe it. I knocked on Jeffory's door. "He- KATELYN!!!!" He hugged me. "I saw the entry. Thanks" I did something I never thought I would do. I kissed him. It wasn't much, but he held the cheek I kissed and turned red. "I-I heh." His eyes widened. "Wait! If you saw the kiss, Alex kissed me and I pushed her away!" He said proudly. I laughed.

"So, what'cha doing for prom?" Jeffory asked. "I dunno. You can just see what happens. You can't ask. Rules." She lived with us again

Well the rules changed quickly. "Girls ask boys or normal rules" The PA system rang out. At lunch, Jeffory asked me to sit with me. "Jeffory? I was wondering if-" I tried to ask him to prom. It wouldn't hurt to try. "Can you go to the dance with me?" A girl interrupted. "Please Jeffory!" "NO!" It was kinda annoying that girls were all over Jeffory.

I slept in the bottom bunk today, again.
