I trusted you, I thought you were better than that. In the end, you were only better at deception...

Katelyn's POV

"Katelyn, he's not trustworthy!"

"Yes he is, Aph!"

You were my best friend, my only light that helped me see.

Your smile always saved my day, my life. A few years ago, that smile faded away...

When it finally came back, it wasn't the same. You weren't the little boy I used to know. You're innocence that lingered in your soul wasn't there anymore. It was replaced by vengeance, thirst for revenge, hatred.

I couldn't find that spark that I saw in you, after that.

You were still the same person, the same smiling friend that lit up my life ever since I was little.

The same cute face that told me that everything was okay, that life would go on. The same smile that made my heart flutter. The same eyes that made me blush and swoon for the first time.

"Just me." A girl with honey blonde hair and moon-like eyes approached me.

"Who are you?"

"Friend of Jeffory's, Lust Armour. We're allies."

"For what." This statement was more of a command.

"Time's up."

She threw an unexpected punch, knocking me out.
