Averi's P.O.V
"We tried to handle this on our own, but it got too out of hand." There was a red haired kid on the screen, who looked like a doppelgänger of Robin, just with a different suit. He was from the other team, Titans East. "We've never had to do an evacuation this big before."
"You're saying that there are Earthquakes spawning all over the city?" Cyborg ask as he scanned some kind of radar that showed at least a dozen blinking dots that seemed to be in some kind of a strange pattern. "It can't be natural."
The red haired guy, I'm almost certain his name was Speedy, suddenly seemed to grow weary. "That's because it's not." His voice lowered. "We encountered Terra a few days ago, and before she disappeared, she sent this kind of wave into the ground. It just have triggered some phenomena that causes earthquakes."
Raven walked up next to Robin "That must have been before she came to our city with Slade again."
Speedy seemed shocked. "I guess we should have warned you about her. We were just so busy because the quakes started only hours after the encounter."
Robin just nods. "It's fine, we all survived. Just get as many people to safety as you can and wait for us. We'll figure out what to do then."
With a quick goodbye, the screen goes dark and we focus back on the endless ocean surrounding us. I was majorly uncomfortable. "Couldn't we have flown around the long way, that follows land?" I ask as I glance hesitantly out the window. "If we nose dive, it will be right into the Pacific Ocean."
"You don't have to worry about that, A." Cyborg reassured. "I'm the one flying this vessel."
"And that's what worries me." I tried to relax by moving away from the window, but that was almost impossible, because the room we were in was just filled with glass walls.
Robin seen my discomfort as he walked over toward me. "We put X in a room that only has one window ." His voice was lowered, which just made me suspicious. "Can you watch him, just make sure he doesn't do anything?"
I cock my eyebrow like I was about to say something, but then clamp my mouth shut again when I realized this was my way to get out of this room.
With a small nod to Robin, I head out the door and through a small mess of halls. It wasn't to complicated, considering this was a small ship, but I still find myself getting lost on some occasions. That was the last thing I was focused on right now. Honestly, I was more worried about seeing X again and what I would do if I seen him. The plan was to avoid him mostly so I wouldn't have to be in some kind of awkward situation, but look where I am now.
What was I supposed to do when I seen him? I mean, not even a day ago, I kissed this guy! This morning he came into the tower with Robin and I swear I almost had a heart attack.
I could still feel my mind racing. Why was he here? Did Robin know about us? Did everyone know about us? We're we a thing now? We can't be a thing, I mean, I still have my pack to think about. They would slaughter me alive and eat me raw if I even thought about getting with a human!
The door to the small compartment was open and I instantly seen X leaning against the frame of a window as he looks out over the clouds. My heart began beating faster and I found myself yelling at an organ inside my body.
You! Stop that beating! He can probably hear you! If he hears me your last beat will happen today, I swear! That's it I've gone insane.
I remembered something I owed him for this morning, so being the amazing person I was, I sneak up behind him and give him a hard punch in the shoulder. With a loud grunt, he stumbles forward and turns swiftly around with his fist pulled back. He was lucky I was quick enough to grab his hand before it hit my face.
