Chapter 15

Weeks had passed since Nathan had told me about werewolves existing -as if!

It was mid October and Halloween was fast approaching and everyone at school was super excited. No matter where you went students were talking about the schools 'annual' Halloween Party held in the gymnasium.

Girls were talking about what they were going to wear, guys were talking about what 'hot chick' -as they put it- was going with them, while the planning committee were hanging up posters and deciding on ticket fees.

There was a buzz going throughout the whole school.

"What are you going as to Halloween Party?" Alex asked me as we walked to the cafeteria during lunch.

"Who says I'm even going?" I winked earning a little chuckle from Alex.

"Seriously though what are you going as?"

"I don't really celebrate Halloween... I don't have a costume..."

Alex's eyes widened, "How do you not celebrate Halloween?" He asked shocked.

I shrugged, "Aussie Aussie Ausiee! Oi Oi OI!"

"Oh right... you're Australian..."

"Bingo... But I dunno. I don't have a costume so I'll have to make one, I might just as like a serial killer version of Alice in Wonderland?"

"I thought you didn't have a costume?"

"Dude, fake blood, dirt, maybe a plastic knife or something and a blue dress... pretty much all I need."

"Nice." He nodded approvingly.

"I'm creative like that. What about you?" I asked genuinely curious.

"I'm going as an Outlaw." He smiled proudly.

"Nice!" I nodded like he had.

Alex rolled his eyes and playfully punched me on my shoulder, earning a playful nudge from me before we broke out into a play fight with me jumping on his back and him trying to pull me off by tickling my sides.

"Stop-HAHAH!-tickling me!" I shouted between fits of laughter as I fell of his back.

"No way! This is too much fun." He laughed aswell before he crouched down and continued tickling me.

"You are -HAHA- such an ass!" I said trying to squirm away.

"What do you two think you're doing?" Alex and I froze at the same time.

We both slowly turned our heads in the direction of the voice.

"Hi Mr Jones." I almost drooled at the site of my biology teacher in his jeans and grey V-neck.

I would so rape him...

Where the hell did that come from?!

"Hello Samantha." He smiled at me and I swear my heart skipped a beat when he said my name, how can one man be so hot? Like even when he said my actual name! And I hate my actual name! Alex looked behind me and gulped.

"We should probably go find Hailey don't you think Sam?" Alex asked nervously.

I shot him a confused look before slowly nodding and following behind Alex as he walked towards the football field.

We spotted Hailey sitting on the bleachers reading a book.

I left Alex behind and skipped up to where she was sitting.

"Hey Hailey!"

"Why are you so happy?" She asked hesitantly putting a book mark in between her pages before putting her book away.

"Jones." I smiled dreamily.

She rolled her eyes. "What are you going to the Halloween Party as?"

So I told her in detail how I planned on making my costume and how I hoped I could get it done by next week so that I had time to study.

"That's such a good idea! Oh hey are you going to come to the after party?"

"There's an after party? Tell me it isn't in the woods!"

"What no way! It's going to be a full- I mean it's going to be full on...windy... that night...and all the girls would probably complain about their costumes getting ruined in the woods anyway." She gave a nervous smile.

"Ok then... So where is it going to be then?"

"Nathan is hosting it in his dorms, but if you're gonna come you have to sneak in ok. I'll come get you from you're dorm room."
"What time's it at?"

"Nobody knows yet, he doesn't tell people just in case they go around telling everyone and teachers find out... They won't do anything even if they did find out it would just be a big 'inconvenience' for him."

"That's fucked up."

"You're telling me." She grinned. "Hey where's Alex by the way? Wasn't he with you?"

"I don't know..." I turned and looked around the football field. "Hey what's going on there?" I asked pointing to a cluster of trees where I could see a small group of people gathering around something.

"Oh shit!" Hailey shouted grabbing my hand and running faster than

I thought possible to the direction of the trees.
