As Capricorn swung his feet through the window I could almost feel the energy bouncing of him.

"Oh my god! Thank you Alexis! Thank you so much you crazy bitch!" he almost screamed at me, jumping around the room. Stupid boy. Thought he could talk to me like that just because I had played a silly little game with him.

"Do you speak to the Flight Captain like that? Do you speak to your mother like that?! A game does not change the fact that I am your superior and soon to be Commander." I said as I smacked him across the head. His smile faded and he dropped his gaze to his boots.

"I'm sorry Alexis. It won’t happen again."

"Damn right it won’t. But it was pretty awesome wasn’t it?" I said playfully, the sternness gone from my voice. He just needed a gentle reminder of were his place was sometimes.

"Are you kidding me? It was fucking awesome! Did you see how many people were there?! And how many were looking at me? And you! The ground! I thought you were going to die! When can we do it again?" his smile had returned and he was almost vibrating with excitement again.

"I’m not sure. There were too many people there for my liking."

"Maybe Ruby told alot of people." Capricorn said.

"She wouldn’t have told that many people that fast."

We crossed the gym and walked down the old wooden stairs. Flying always made me extra hungry and I was lucky that someone and made some spaghetti at some point and there was a huge bowl of leftovers still there. Grinning I took the bowl and separated it into two smaller bowls and brought them over to the microwave. I opened my mind to Cam to see were he was just as he came through the door with Grace, Scarlet and Jace. Jace went to sit on the soft red couch and when my food dinged I went to sit on his lap and he interlaced his fingers around my waist, gently tracing my bellybutton.

"Lexi! Your sooooo not going to believe what just happened." Grace squealed at me.

"Oh yeah? Try me." I doubted she could tell me something that shocking.

"The deputy just came up to me and asked if we could come and talk to the Vellocet Studies class. I was with Jace and Scarlet and Cam, and they all said they didn’t really want to but I told him that I would check with you guys. So do you want to? The class just started so you’re not that late."

For as amazing as Grace was, if I wasn’t a Vellocet I would never understand a word that comes out of that girls impossibly fast mouth. I contemplated this as I ate my delicious food.

"I have nothing better to do after I finish this I guess. Capricorn?" I asked

"Naaah. That many Regulars in an enclosed space? Nooo thank youuu." he replied.

"Ugh. He’s such a boy." Grace said

"Yeah he is." I agreed as he stuck his tongue out at us.

I literally licked my bowl clean and left it in the sink.

"Hey! Someone has to clean that you know!" Scarlet scolded me. Hot headed Scarlet, with her crazy red hair and piecing green eyes on a sharp, angular, pale face. One of the more intimidating Vellocets I’d met in my time.
