He found me in my Heaven. It wasn't hard to figure out why he was there. As soon as he appeared, I knew I was coming back.
"My name is-"
"Gabriel. I know," I said, not taking my eyes off of my computer. "By the way, there's some chocolate in the fridge."
"How did you know who- Wait, did you say chocolate?"
I hummed in agreement, finally looking up. "Help yourself. It's a never-ending supply."
His eyes widened as he ran towards the kitchen. When he came back out, his arms were full of chocolate and other candies he had found in the cupboards. "I found these, too," he said, his mouth full of sugar.
I rolled my eyes, laughing. "What's up?"
"You know the Book of the Damned that you decoded?" I nodded. "Well, it worked. The Mark of Cain is gone."
"But...?" I prompted.
"But the Darkness was released."
I frowned. "And the Darkness is...?"
He stared at me with a seriousness that I've never seen in anyone. "The Darkness is my aunt."
My eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Wait, so the big bad that you let out is God's sister?"
The archangel nodded. "But that's not why I'm here."
I narrowed my eyes. "Then why are you here?"
"Castiel is dead. I came here to ask for you help in getting him back."
My heartbeat sped up. "What do you mean Cas is dead?"
Gabriel sank into a chair. "He died protecting Dean," he said bitterly. "If it wasn't for him, my brother would still be alive."
Suddenly, the lightbulb flicked on inside my head. "Does that mean...?" I trailed off, a hopeful smile on my face.
He nodded. "Yes. They're official."
The archangel covered his ears as I let out a window-shattering squeal of excitement. "I fucking called it, bitches!" I held out my hand to him. "Pay up."
"What?"
I flapped my hand. "You owe me 20 bucks. I called it." He gasped in surprise. "Look, someone is paying up, and you're the only one here."
Gabriel grumbled, but pulled out a twenty anyways. "But don't even know you... And you don't need money," he complained.
"Shut up and pay up, angel boy," I said. He handed over the money, still pouting. "Now. Back to why you're here. What do you need me to do?"
"Cause a diversion."
I grinned. "No problem."

I peered out from the door to my Heaven, the endless white hallways seeming to bend in my vision. I blinked to clear the growing nausea, then stepped outside.
Double checking to make sure there weren't any unwanted winged-dicks, I started banging on other people's doors, pushing them open and allowing them to trickle out.
I pulled out the walkie-talkie that I had built and called it in. "Sugar Cube, this is Red Bandit. We're out."
"Good," came the reply. "Make as much noise as you can and get as many people out as possible. I'm gonna find out what happened to Cassie."
"Copy that. Red Bandit over and out." I clipped it back to my belt and clapped my hands to get the people's attention. They all turned to look at me, each from a different era.
There was a Charles Bradburn from the 1920's, a Chloe Braedon from 1842, a Champion Brand from 2004, and a "Chhrg Brargh" from 1401... BC.
I looked around at all the people around me, each of them waiting for me to speak. "Guys, I need your help. One of my friends died and we want to know where he ended up."
"Why do we care?" Champion asked while Chhrg grunted in agreement.
I glared at him, "Because Castiel is an angel. You might not care, but his brothers and father do. Do you wanna go against the entire army of Heaven because you didn't do everything in your power to help bring him back?"
He shook his head and Chhrg whined. "Then what should we do?"
I smirked. "Here's the plan, bitches. We-"
"Excuse me?" Chloe gasped in a clear British accent, her hand fluttering to over her heart. "How dare you insult me so?"
I rolled my eyes. "Here's the deal. I'll call you what I want, got it? Because I have the archangel Gabriel on speed dial."
"On what?" she asked.
"A mobile phone. Don't ask," Charles told her.
"And where did you learn that?"
Charles shrugged. "I have engineering books. It has a lot of information on modern technologies."
Chloe opened her mouth to protest, but I cut her off. "Moving on! Now, I need you guys to let more people out. Make noise and get the attention of the angels. We need a distraction."
"For what, exactly?" Chloe asked. I ground my teeth together and resisted the urge to drop-kick her.
"So we can find Cas and break him out."
"Out of where?"
I stomped my foot in annoyance. "We don't know! That's why we're causing a diversion to find out! Now, one more word outta you, blondie, and I'll shove my foot so far up your-"
"That's enough," I heard from behind me. I spun around and saw three angels in a V formation staring us down. "What is going on?"
"Break!" I hollered. Only Champion and the other moderners seemed to understand me. "Go!" I yelled in exasperation. The rest of the ghosts split up to begin the rampage through Heaven. The angel exchanged worried glances. I smirked. "Peace out, bitches!"
