When I woke up, I had a pounding headache as well as some serious pain in my stomach. I groaned as I tried to heal myself. It didn't work.

I froze, something wet springing into my eyes. I blinked as a drop traced its way down my cheek, leaving the skin taut in its wake.

"Gabriel?" I looked up at the sound of my name.

I squinted as I tried to get my eyes to focus, "Samsquatch?"

"Yeah," he said. "What the hell happened to you?"

I sighed. "It's a long story..."

I stormed into the records room as soon as my elder brothers had left. Only an intern remained and by the look on his face, he'd never met an archangel before.

"Where is Castiel?" I growled.

He shook his head, trembling. "I don't know who you mean. I'm new, I-"

"Save it," I hissed, shoving him up against the wall. "Find my little brother and maybe I'll let you live," I gestured for him to say his name.

"E-Eric," he said softly. "My name is Eric."

I smiled, but he didn't stop shaking. "Well, Eric. If you want to live, I suggest that you cooperate."

He nodded slowly and I pulled my arm from his throat. "F-follow me," he stammered, leading me to a computer.

I sat down in the chair next to him as he started typing something into the computer. I tapped my foot anxiously as he slowly hit the keys.

"Will you hurry it up?!" I shouted.

He jumped, but turned the screen to face me. "Castiel. Born on the second day." I nodded for him to continue. "Fallen angel multiple times, leader of a rebellion, killer of many of his brothers-"

"That's enough," I cut Eric off. "Just tell me where he his."

The angel's eyes scanned the screen. "It says that he was killed by Aziel, so that means that he was sent... Downstairs."

I sprang up and punched a hole in the wall near his head. "Lie to me again, and it will be the last thing you do."

"I'm sorry! I can't give away Heaven locations. It's against the rules!"

Glaring at him, I pushed the tip of my angel blade beneath his chin, daring him to keep talking. "Bend. The. Rules. I will not ask again. This is your final warning."

Eric swallowed hard and hit a key on the computer, throwing the records room into darkness. Suddenly, red emergency lights flared up, bathing me in a demonic glow.

I closed my eyes and took a few seconds to calm myself. When I opened them, Eric and I weren't alone anymore. "Gabriel. Leave," Tamoh hissed.

"Why don't you make me, Tammy?" I taunted.

"Gabriel," he warned, "I would tread lightly if I were you."

I shrugged. "Nah." I twirled the blade in my hand. "This'll be more fun."

Tamoh sighed, snapping his fingers. I yelped as I felt my being split in two. The pain caused me to crumple to the ground, breathing heavily. He shook his head, "I warned you."

Shakily standing back up, I gripped my angel blade tight in my hand as I lunged for him or Eric. I didn't care who I hit as long as it was one of them.

Tam sidestepped me easily, dragging his own blade across my arm as I ran past. He rubbed his forehead and sighed as I stumbled backwards from the impact of hitting a wall.

"Are you done, yet?" he asked.

I shook my head. "Just getting started." The rest of the battle was a giant blur. All I could remember was the pain that each stab caused.

I also remember the look in Eric's eyes as my blade was forced through his chest. I ended up winning, even in my humanized state. The last thing I remember before I blacked out was Charlie calling my name and saying that she found him.

"Then how did you get back here?" Sam asked. "And where's Cas if you found him?"

I shook my head. "I don't know." I sighed. "I heard her say we found him, then I blacked out. I'm assuming that we got out of there with the help of Anders. He is one of my few brothers--or anyone--who still likes me."

Sam looked down at his lap and played with his hands. "Gabe, look... More people than just Anders like you."

I shook my head and sighed. "You're wrong, Sammich. I'm an outcast. Even more so than Cassie."

He opened his mouth to say something else, when Dean burst into the room. "Sammy," his voice cracked.

The younger Winchester shook his head. "What's going on? Are you okay, Dean?"

His brother shook his head. "It's Cas."

I sprang up, crying out when my stitches pulled against my skin. Sam gently pushed me back down, promising to hurry back.

As the brothers sprinted out of my room, I couldn't help but think about what the Moose had said.

Who else could like me?
