Chapter 15: Saying Hi Again!

Hayley's POV:
So I woke up, still holding Shawn's card he gave me, I was so happy this morning, I made pancakes with blueberries for breakfast, I just kept on looking at Shawn's card, he so sweet for a player though, and then I started watching my morning cartoons. I actually wished that I had his address, that made me sad knowing I can't say you're right or I'm sorry that I yelled at you, I also wished that I still attended college, I was always studying which I loved so much, and then remembered my dream was to be a dancer so I decided I should start making that dream come true. So, I decided to go running in the park today, even though I was in shape already but to have a peaceful morning, and to think of stuff. I was wearing the usual running clothes that most people wear when they go running, and off I went to run. As I'm running I was just thinking of a dream I had last night, it was about Shawn and I, we were together, like a happy married couple, to be honest I didn't want the dream to end, he and I were happy together, and we spent every second of our lives together. It was a sweet dream, thats when I can see Shawn in the corner of my eye, he was reading a book, I was like Shawn reading a book that doesn't sound like him. I was wondering why he was here in the park, I didn't give a damn, and I was completely staring at him looking at his adorable face, so I was actually pretty nervous to go talk to him, I felt that old shy me again, I felt that feeling when I first saw him too, and that feeling makes everything worse because I completely freeze. But, I'm not letting him leave without getting his address, I took a deep breath, and went to talk to him. My heart was beating so fast, I said without him noticing "Hi Shawn", he looked up at me, smiled, and said "Oh hey Hayley" then he got up, I said "What are you doing reading a book doesn't sound like you", he said "Yeah because I got nothing else to do and are you running", I said "Yeah I'm working on that dream of mine", and he said "That's great". He then told me "Want to hang out tomorrow night because I have somewhere to go right now", I said "Yeah", he said "Ok", then he walked away, I said "Nice talking to you again", he turned around and said "Yeah you too". I was so freakin' happy that we're hanging out tomorrow, I'm so happy that we talked for like a minute but hey who's counting, and now I have things to worry about now. Not that I had other things in my mind, I have to buy a dress now, I wonder if he was looking at my body, and I decided to worry about that when I finished running. 15 minutes later... I finished running I'm so sweating and exhausted. But, I quickly went to my apartment to get ready to shop for a new dress, I took a shower, and I called my friend Ashton that's really in love with me over to help me pick out a dress. Ok let me explained Ashton to you, you might be thinking of why didn't you go out with him rather than Owen, it's because Ashton and I never talked for a long time but I knew he was still in love with me, and plus Ashton has a girlfriend named Mary they've been going out well over 2 years he told me this one time we saw each other at the park, and to be honest she's hotter than I am. Than again, Ashton was hot too, but he isn't quite hot at the level Shawn is though, and he wasn't near the sweet level either. But, he asked if Mary can come over too, I said sure I guess if she knows how to pick out dresses, he said yeah definitely, and I said Awesome! Mary is like a second Lyric to me, but we haven't talked in ages, Mary is extremely sweet, and she's one of the greatest people in my life. I heard a knock at the door, I quickly opened it, hugged both Ashton and Mary, I said "Aw you guys are perfect together I hope my crush and I can be like you guys", Ashton told me "Where we going and who are you getting this dress for", I looked at the time and said "Come on I'll tell you everything there", and he said "Ok". I felt like something was bothering Mary because she didn't look very happy, I asked her "What's wrong", she answered with "Oh nothing just a heachache", I said "Ok hope you feel better", and she leaned on Ashton. I was like I wished Shawn and I were like that but I knew we were gonna be the greatest couple, and we got to the store. Ashton wasn't really the one to shop, he and Mary were like holding hands following me, Ashton asked me "Who Do you like", I said "A guy name Shawn", and as soon as I said that someone bumped into me, I was looking back at Ashton and Mary, then when I turned around there was Shawn, I was like the hell was he here for, I said "Shawn", we hugged each other, I said "What are you doing here", he said "I came shopping with my sister she's here somewhere", I said "Come here I want you meet some people", I grabbed this arm, and introduced him to Ashton and Mary. It was weird because Shawn and Mary just kept on staring at each other, then Ashton said "Hey pretty boy she's mine", he looked at him, I said to Ashton "Stop being mean Ashton", Ashton said "Well he's staring at her", Shawn said "Don't worry I wouldn't want to steal another guy's girlfriend", and I asked Shawn "Want to join us"? He said "Yeah I would love to", he and I started walking, Mary rushed to the other side of Shawn, Ashton being Ashton he moved to Mary to walk in the other side Shawn, Shawn wanted to look at jewelry, I told Ashton and Mary I was gonna be with Shawn, Mary said "Can I join", I was like "Ok", poor Ashton kept on following Mary, Shawn was looking through a glass window at earrings, he was so sweet he wanted to buy me one, he was in the middle, I was in the right of him, Mary was in the other side of him, and Ashton wanted to talk to me. We talked in private, he said "I don't want him here anymore", I said "Why not", he said "Because Mary is constantly following him", I said "Oh I know I wonder why", and he said "He either leaves or you can go talk to her". I was like I'm gonna talk to her because I wondered why she was following us, I saw them constantly talking and laughing, Ashton was right behind me looking at them have fun, he whispered in my ear "I'm sorry", I turned around and said "Let's leave", and he said "Ok". We went to them, I said "Ok we're leaving", Shawn said "Why", Mary said the same thing, Ashton said "We all have plans", Ashton grabbed Mary they went to the car, I said "I'll meet you guys there", I told Shawn "Don't even think about hanging out with me tomorrow", he said "Wait, what, why", I said "Come on Shawn you guys are absolutely in love with each other I knew it was too hard to believe that we were gonna be together", I was starting to cry, he said "She likes me I don't I'm just trying to be nice with her plus, she has a boyfriend", I said with my crying voice "Really then why were you staring at her", he said "She looks familiar so, can we hang out tomorrow then", I said "Yeah I haven't gotten a dress though", he said "You don't need a dress you already look beautiful", and he was wiping my tears. He said "Come on pick out any jewelry you want", I said "Ok", I told Shawn not to look, but I got a necklace that had Shawn's name, and he told me if he can see it. I said "No wait until tomorrow", he bought it, it was in a box, and he told me that he was going to find his sister. We smiled, hugged for a very long time, we stared in each others eyes, he was moving closer to my lips, so was I, but out of nowhere someone yelled "Shawn", it was his sister, I said "Bye Shawn", he smiled, and said "Bye Hayley". I rushed to the car, they told me where I was at, I said I had to use the bathroom, while I was in the back seat, I was just looking at the necklace, and Ashton and Mary were arguing. I was like calm down trying to admire my necklace. So, we got to my house, I told them thanks for everything, and I ran to my apartment. I just kept on looking at the necklace, thanks goodness I didn't have to wear a dress, I just left it in my drawer, and I watched some romance movies. The movies were so good, it felt like Shawn and I, they were first friends, them there's problem, jealous exes, a tragedy, and then they get together. I was so sleepy because running loses your energy fast, so I happily fell asleep and in the middle of me sleeping I heard a boom outside. That woke me up, they told everyone that we had to be evacuated, all I heard were sirens, I was scared, I wished Shawn was here, people were panicking, kids were crying, thank goodness I wasn't on the top floor, when everyone went outside, all you can hear and smell was smoke, parents topped their kids mouths, then there was another boom, I saw it, it was a huge explosion, I was starring to cry I was all by myself, then a hand touched me in the shoulder, I turned around it was Shawn, I said crying "Shawn", I hugged him, he held my hand, Shawn said "Stay here", I cryed "Where you going", he said "Hold on", I was waiting for him, he had a little boy in his arms, the boy was crying, Shawn calmed him down, we heard a yell saying "Has anyone seen my son", Shawn went to find the lady, he came back, there were still explosions going off, I was panicking so much, he kept on calming me down, and he told me to go inside his sister's car. On our way to get car we found a stray German Shepard it didn't look sick, it was a puppy, Shawn took it, we got in the car, Shawn's sister said panicking "What the hell happened", Shawn said "I don't know", she drove to Shawn's house, I kept on petting the dog, Shawn wiped my tears, Shawn's sister said to "Hi I'm Shari and you are", I said "Hayley your brother's friend", she said "Nice to meet you Shawn talks about you a lot", I said "Thanks", I was surprised Shawn's house wasn't that far, and we got out of the car. His sister was staying with Shawn for a week, she was nice, she was like the girl version of Shawn, Shawn went to put the dog inside his room, I asked his Shari "Do you have a boyfriend", she said "No and you or do you like my brother", I said "I like your brother", she said "He absolutely loves you he talks about you, our parents want to meet you", I was like damn I knew he liked me but not love me I loved him too, I said "That's nice of him", and we heard Shawn coming so we stopped talking. Shawn said "Come on let's watch the news", We all sat on the couch watching the news, the news said it was a group of teenagers that ignited bombs all over where my apartment was at because the leader of the group girlfriend broke up with him and dating another guy that lived there, and they confirmed 20 people were dead even children. Shawn's sister started crying saying "That could've been either one of us", Shawn put his arm around her, he said "It's ok", then I started crying because I knew everyone that lived there, he told me to lean on him, so I did, he put his arm around me too, and calmed us both down. He suggested that we should go to sleep, to forget this nightmare, we all slept in the living room because the couch Shawn had turned into beds. Shari fell asleep, Shawn and I started awake, you might be thinking kiss already but we will when we think it's a good time to, Shawn said "I'm sleepy I'm gonna go to sleep", I said "Are we still hanging out tomorrow", he said "Yeah", and we both smiled. I decided to go to sleep, Shawn was brushing his teeth, I was gonna sleep on the bed Shari was sleeping on, she whispered to me "Sleep with my brother but don't actually 'Sleep' with him I'll be fine", and whispered to her "Ok thanks". When Shawn got out of the bathroom I asked if I can sleep with him, he said Ok, we both got on the bed, he put his arm around me, and I put my arm around my waist, he kissed me on the top of my head. And, we both slept, I actually felt safe around him, and I never felt happy about sleeping.
