Chapter 25: I'm Sorry!! We're Sorry!!

Hayley's POV:
I felt like shit when I woke up.

I had a huge headache, fever, and every single second I always got the feeling that I'm gonna puke all over the place.

I just got out of bed, instead of making coffee like my usual routine, I just decided to take medicine, and lay down on the couch.

I didn't even notice that it was super early because I checked the time it was 3:00 a.m.

I didn't wake myself up, it was I guess I can say that my body woke me up.

That was weird because I never did anything that'll get me sick so bad that even medicine won't work on me.

I never felt this sick my whole life.

But, I didn't want to go to the hospital because come on they never find anything.

And, just charge you for no reason.

So, I'm not going there.

I felt alone and absolutely sad.

But, I know exactly how to feel better.

I went to go take a shower and get dressed because I thought maybe a warm shower can take get rid of this stupid fever.

I drove to this place that Shawn told me I could go if I ever felt alone and sad.

It was so early in the morning and I just wanted to be somewhere that is very peaceful.

That's when I notice Shawn was there too.

I thought maybe I should go, but then I remembered that maybe I should apologize first.

He was looking at the lake.

When I blinked, I didn't even notice that he turned his head to me, and he was just staring at me.

It creeped me out because who in the hell can turn their head around that fast.

I didn't say anything I just sat down like 5 feet away from him.

Of coarse, there was an awkward silence and it was weird he wasn't even looking at me.

He acted like I wasn't even there with him.

"Hey", I said to him.

"Hey", he said while staring at the lake.

When he stares it creeps me out.

"Look, I'm just gonna cut right to the chase, for these past few days, I admit I really missed you, I felt so alone, and I'm sorry about what I did I really truly am"

He was still staring at the lake and he was completely ignoring me.

I looked at the lake too, to see if he sees sonething.

It was just a normal lake.

"Shawn"?

He just keeps on staring at the lake.

"Do you see something"?

He nodded no while still staring.

"Hey, I'm sorry"

That's when he slowly started to move his head to me.

And, he just smiled like nothing happened.

I'm like what the hell and I smiled back.

I was waiting for him to apologize too.

"We're sorry", he told me.

"What do you mean by 'We're'"?
