Chapter 42: Thanks Shawn!

**3 weeks later**

Hayley's POV:
After 3 weeks of not talking and seeing Shawn, I felt lonely again but I don't even want to talk to him, that's actually a lie, I do want to.

Even though I didn't want to find someone, I'm gonna take his advice, and plus I did promise him that I will try to find someone.

But the thing is who in the hell will want to date a pregnant person?

It was already 6:00 a.m.

Lyric woke up and I asked her what I should do.

"Well, if you promised Shawn you'll find someone than you have to or at least try"

"Okay but who will want to date a pregnant person?"

"Tons of guys have kids even though it's not theirs or at least one of them aren't theirs"

"So, someone will be willing to date me?"

"Of course look how hot Shawn was and is and he dated you"

"But I wasn't pregnant when we started dating"

"Look I promise you someone will date you"

"Okay thanks"

So, even though I wasn't in college I still was studying to be a doctor.

I studied out in the front porch.

In the corner of my eye I saw a guy walking up to me.

I acted like I didn't see him.

"Hey, you're Hayley, correct?

I looked up at him.

"Yeah and you are?"

"I'm Devin one of Shawn's friends he told me a lot about you"

"Oh, so Devin what brings you here?"

"I was at the funeral and it was a very sad speech"

"You still haven't answered my question"

"Can I sit down?"

"Yeah sure", I said moving for he can sit next to me.

He sat down.

"Well, this might sound crazy but Shawn told me that I should date you, he trusts me to, and that means a lot to me"

I was so confused.

"How'd he tell you?"

"In a dream of mine and yes I still have dreams"

"That's very nice of you but I'm also pregnant so....."

"Really I've always wanted a kid, what is it?"

"I still don't know"

"Oh, so....what do you say wanna go out with me?"

I thought what other choice do I have.

"Come on it'll mean a lot to Shawn"

"If it means a lot to him then yes I will go out with you"

"Really?"

"Why the hell not but will it bother you that I still love him even though...."

"No not all, I still miss him as well"
