Chapter 41: The Funeral

Hayley's POV:
Everyone that was at Lyric's wedding knows that Shawn is gone and everyone was devastated about it because in just one day he stole everyone's heart.

So, like the wedding, everyone stayed at our place, I told them the story, and they believed me because they know I wouldn't just do something like that.

I went to Shawn's parents house at 5:30 a.m. to go help with everything, they packed everything in a van, and drove to the church.

Some of his cousins came with us.

He had this one-year old cousin that was so adorable.

His whole family were all funny as fuck.

We finally got there and we put everything where it was supposed to be, and when I was the only one in the church the huge and colorful window lit up.

I smiled.

The window was a rectangle shaped, it was behind the stage, so,  everyone can see it.

"What are you looking at?", one of his cousins asked me looking at the window as well.

"Shawn's, uhm, light it up", I answered her while pointing at the window.

"Oh, that's nice", she said while turning back around to get more stuff out of the van.

I went to go get more stuff as well.

I put the flowers and his portrait onstage.

We finally finished, they drove me to their house, and I drove myself back home.

Everyone was getting ready, we were gonna have the funeral so early because his parents planned 3 occasions, which were his funeral in the church, burial which is absolutely gonna kill me, and a party to celebrate his life which is gonna be held at his house.

I found the most beautiful black dress, I curled my hair, and left it down.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw something shining, I went to go see what it was, it was the necklace Shawn bought me way before we even started dating, I looked up at the sky.

"You want me to where it?"

"Yeah", he said once again standing right behind me.

"Okay"

"You look beautiful"

"Thanks"

"Here, let me put it on you", he said putting it on me.

"I saw the window", I told him turning around.

"Yeah, I'll light it up again"

"There's a bunch of people from the wedding that are coming"

"Yeah, I can see that, so, how's your speech"

"Honestly, it came from the heart, so, hopefully it's a great speech"

"Can I hear it?", Shawn asked.

I chuckled.

"No"

"Come on, please"

"Can you wait until the funeral?"

He sighed.

"Fine"

"Look I gotta go, I'll be seeing the window", I told him.

"Okay, I'll be looking from up above"

I got out of the room, I went downstairs, everyone looked so good, we all went in seperate cars.

We all went to the church, there was absolutely loads of people because his whole family came, everyone from the wedding, his fans from wrestling, and wrestlers, it looked like a "Guns N' Roses" concert, and we parked.
