Chapter 15

Your POV

I sat in Jason's Cabin with Lou, Will, Nico, Leo, and obviously Jason. Leo had his arm around me and was telling them what happened, leaving out the story about my past. I carefully studied each of their faces, not paying attention to the story. Jason was smiling, Lou looked like she was preparing to threaten Leo, Will was also smiling but his eyes moved to Nico every few seconds, and Nico just wore a stoic expression. "Y/N?" Someone called, scaring me. I instantly pushed myself closer to Leo. "Dazing off much?" Lou laughed. "Don't scare me like that!" I complained. Nico cracked a small smile and Jason laughed. "You guys are the worst!" I mumbled, starting to pull away from Leo. "Y/N don't leave me!" He shouted dramatically. Then the horn sounded, signaling dinner. "Come on Deathboy, you swore on the Styx you sit with me today!" Will said excitedly, dragging Nico along behind him. "Yeah yeah I know Will." Nico responded grudgingly. I stood up, stretching. "Wanna have a race?" Lou asked. "You're on!" I said eagerly. "Jason fly to the Pavilion so you can see who wins! Leo you're gonna tell us when to go." I ordered. We waited two minutes to make sure Jason was there before Leo yelled "Start!" We took off. I let Lou think she was winning and ran a little behind her right up until we were about to reach the Pavilion. I let out extra speed an barely pushed myself past her. "Nice job Y/N!" Jason said as I tried to catch my breath. "Good game Y/N." Lou wheezed out beside me. Everyone was staring at us like we were crazy. I smiled awkwardly as Leo ran up to us. "Who won?" He asked. "Y/N did." Jason told him. After that, we separated to our respective tables.

Leo's POV

I was talking and eating with my siblings when Lou walked up to me. "Hey! What's up?" I asked, wiping my mouth. "I need to apologize in advance for something." She grinned mischievously. "What? Is something wrong?" I asked, concerned. "Well... The other day I met Y/N and she was really stressed out because of you. So I might have sworn on the Styx to turn you into some kind of animal." She said quickly. "Oh gods..." I mumbled, putting my face into my hands. "Don't worry! It's temporary!" She added cheerfully. "So when is this gonna happen and how long is it gonna last?" I asked. "Tomorrow morning and it only lasts 24 hours." She responded. "Alright, just don't ruin this bad boy's good looks!" I said, turning back to my food. "You'll be fine! I've done this before!" She said before walking away. "Wait... Before!?" I yelled after her, but she didn't hear. "Well I bet I'll be a lion or a tiger! Something as awesome as I am!" I smirked. My sister Nyssa rolled her eyes. "I'm not taking care of you tomorrow, you can have your girlfriend take care of you." She said smugly. I looked at her, confused. "That's kinda what I was planning..." I told her innocently. "You have a girlfriend and you didn't tell me!?" Nyssa shouted at me. "I- Well... It just!" She cut me off and yelled at me in rapid Spanish. My face was turning red from embarrassment. "Nyssa! Let me finish!" I yelled. She stopped and crossed her arms, glaring at me. "She just became my girlfriend today!" I said. She punched me in the ribs and smiled. "That's my little brother!" She cheered. "Is it really that surprising?" I said, faking being hurt. "Yes, yes it is." She laughed. I finished up my food and waved to Y/N. She smiled and waved back before I went off to bed. For some reason, every step I took seemed to make me even more tired and I barely managed to drag myself into bed. Wait does Y/N know what- I passed out, not even finishing my thought.

Your POV

I waved to Leo and smiled as he left the Pavilion. Someone tapped me on the shoulder and I whipped around only to see it was Lou Ellen. "Hey Lou!" I said casually. "Hey Y/N!" She grinned. "Oh no what did you do?" I asked suspiciously. "Me? Doing something wrong? That's crazy!" She said faking innocence. "Mhm sure..." I said. "Well uhh... Just be prepared for tomorrow ok? Bye!" She spoke quickly and dashed away before I could resister what she said. "Ugh! Lou what did you do!?" I yelled, but she had already disappeared. All my siblings burst out laughing. "You all suck." I stated, but I couldn't help but smile. Soon I started laughing with with them. After the laughter died down I got up and started to head to my cabin. On the way there I heard quiet whispering by the Big House. I crept over to the window and listened. "Ever since the girl got here there's been trouble." A disinterested voice said. "Yes, yes I know. But why is the goddess after her?" That was definitely Chiron. Who is this goddess after? I wondered. "Well discuss it more tomorrow." Chiron added before I heard his hooves clomping out of the room. I ran to my Cabin thinking about what I overheard. I couldn't help but think of Anthony's "mom" It couldn't be her could it? No I'm safe now everything will be fine. I thought, fighting off my paranoia. I got changed and sat on my bunk listening to the quiet snores of siblings. I eventually fell asleep with troubled dreams of evil shadows ringing through my head.
