Dreams

"Damon.....you can't keep doing this.....it's not good for you....for us. It needs to end." Elena looks at me with tears in her eyes.
"Elena no."
"I'm so sorry, I can't do this." She said and took of her wedding ring and put it on our bed waking out.
"Elena wait!" I yelled but she was already gone.

The next thing I know, I sprung out of bed confused as hell.
"Hey.....hey....you okay?" Elena asked me sitting up. I think me jumping woke her up.
"I.....uh......it was just a bad dream." I said shaking it off.
"You sure...I kept hearing you mumble things as if you were fighting with someone. And that jump, man how bad was the dream?" She asked rubbing my back.
"It.......it was really vivid.......me and you were fighting and I don't know what it was about and we were yelling. And you said....you said...." I stalled shaking my hair.
"Damon what did I do?" She asked me.
"You......"I paused. "You said that you couldn't do this anymore.....that you were done with me.....you gave me back your ring and you left." I told her looking down at the sheets.
"Damon......." She said and I didn't look at her.
"Look at me." She said and turned my head with her soft and gentle hands.
I half smirked.
"It was just a dream.....I could never do that.....I love you Damon." She said holding my hand.
I looked away from her because everything I looked at her all I could see was rejection and anger.
I huffed I knew it wasn't real but with our lives and things people can put in others heads who knows. "I'm gonna get some air." I said and walked out of the room, went downstairs and headed outside. I know I was overreacting but sometimes I feel like this is a really big decision for her, especially because it's me. We've always gotten into fights over how reckless I am and I don't want her to regret marrying me. I leaned over the railing of our balcony. Before I knew it I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Elena I.......Katherine?" I say looking at her.
"The one and only."
"What are you doing?"
"Well Elena said that you might open up to me more if I came to talk to you....she said that you already told her everything but you could tell me how your feeling."
"Yeah well I feel shitty.....more like an ass hole actually. Elena was trying to help me and I ignored her and stormed off."
"Well it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out but we both know that you and Elena love each other....a lot.....which happens to be the only fucking thing you guys say to each other. So don't worry, clearly you had a bad vision and needed to think about it, not for your sake but for hers."
What Katherine said actually helped, well it was Elenas idea to call her so I guess Elena knows me pretty well.
"You won't hear this often from me but thank you." I said and she walked away.
After a few more minutes I heard Elena walk up to me.
"Need some of this?" She asked and handed me a cup of bourbon.
I smiled and drank some.
"Damon....what ever you saw-"
"Wasn't real....I know that....but I want to know if your ready for this...." I asked her.
"Ready for what? A forever lifetime with you? Because the answer is yes." She smiled at me.
"But Elena.....I always do something wrong....I always find a way to screw up....what if I can't change my habits?" I asked her.
"Damon, do you know who the man I feel in love with was? You. Reckless, impulsive, selfish, man whore, vampire Damon Salvatore...who happens to be the love of my life." She laughed. "I forgot eternal stud. Why would I ever want it any other way? Damon I love you for you. No matter how bad you do, or how bad people want you to change, I love you. Always."
I looked into her brown doe eyes. I was at loss for words. Shaking my head I walked up to her and grabbed her face kissing her.

No words just kissing. God that felt good.
She rested her for head on mine.
"Damon, I love you. I would never leave you....I promise." She said and gave me a small kiss on my cheek.
"I love you too baby."

"Aw the love birds made up." Katherine teased sitting on the couch with Stefan.
"Don't be an ass." Stefan whispered to her.
"Well....we're off to Carolines." I smiled looking at Damon. Sometimes I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. I know I sound cheesy but I'm so terribly in love with him I didn't think it was humanly....I mean....vampirelyyy.....possible.
"Hello?" Damon said waving his hand in front of my face.
"Oh...uh...sorry I was..."
"Staring at me." Damon said and I looked down embarrassed.
"It's okay I'd do it too if I was in your place." He laughed. "What am I saying I look at you everyday. I gaze into your eyes when your not looking. And your smile....damn it lights up my day. Your whole body is beautiful too but evey time I look at you, I fall in love with you all over." He said gushing.
I smiled at him uncontrollably.
"Save it for the wedding." I said holding his hand in the car.

Carolines Pov
"Klaus, how should I do my hair for the wedding. Like this?" I walked up to him with it pinned up. "Orrrrr...." I walked back into the bathroom and came back a minute later. "Or this?" I asked with it braided at the side and pinned back with the rest of my hair down.
"Love, first of all you look great either way. And second of all I think you guys will hire someone to do that for you ladies don't you think?" He said pulling me on the bed beside him.
"Caroline?" I heard from the front of the house.
"This is gonna to have to wait........COMING!" I said to Kalus and yelled responding to Elena.
"Hey!" She said and hugged me.
"Damon." I said and smiled at him.
"Couldn't get enough of me could you. One day separation and your already crawling back?" Kalus joked.
"Actually we did come for you." She said and I think me and Klaus' reactions were priceless.
"Him?" I said pointing at Klaus.
"Yes." Elena said laughing.
"Did a furry four legged friend bite one of you and you need my blood?" He asked them.
"Noooooo..."
"Does someone need me to compel away some memories?" He asked them again.
"No Klaus nothing like that. We were wondering if you asked Rebekah about being part of our wedding." Elena said smiling.
"Yeah....yeah I'll give her a call."
"Well you better make it soon because the wedding is next month." Damon said.
"Trust me....I should remember." Klaus smirked.
"I'll call." Caroline said picking up Klaus' phone.

Stefan walked up to Damons car and saw Damon with his head swong back assuming he was sleeping.
"Damon." He said and knocked on the window. When he realized.
"Jesus Stef!" Damon yelled and Elena jumped up hitting her head on the roof.
"I was just uh...." Elena said licking her lips. Making Damon smirk.
"I...uh....sorry...god." Stefan said and walked away shaking his head.
"What happened?" Katherine asked Stefan as he walked in the house looking disgusted.
"I walked in on Elena giving Damon a good time in the car." He said embarrassed.
"Oh god please don't tell me anymore." She laughed.
"Shit man." Elena said embarrassed.
"And I was just about to cu-"
"Oh my god Damon!" She said hitting his arm.
"You wanna finish off?" He smirked.
"I think it's your turn to help me out.....in OUR room though." She assured him.

"Elena?"
"Yeah."
"Nothing just making sure that you were still in my arms and that this hasn't been one big dream." I smirked and held her tigher.
"Damon if you squeeze me any more my head will pop off.
"Sorry....it's just you being back makes me the happiest man alive....or dead." I laughed.
"I love you." She said stretching her head up to kiss me and she played with the ring on her hand
"I love you too baby."

"Ugh all this lovey dovey stuff is so gross." Katherine said as she layed down with me in my bed.
"As long as he's happy." I told her and kissed her head. "Why can't we be like that?" I joked.
"I'd rather die." Katherine laughed.
"So....you wouldn't want me to do this...." I said and put her in my arms.
"Or this..." I said and kissed her neck.
"Or this...." I said and gripped her waist with my hand and pulled her closer to me.
"Shut up!" She said and kissed me. I rolled her on top off me and she ripped my shirt off.
"Someone likes to play rough." I smirked.
I threw her top off over her head leaving her in her bra and skinny jeans. I slid my hands in her back pocket and gripped her butt.
"Next time do that.....minus the pants." She winked at me.
I quickly slid her pants off and she undid my belt.
"Stefan....I need you....now!" She begged.
