Nathan's POV

I heard the maids and servants talking about the prince and his little brother starting school.

"Heh... this'll mean I get less time worrying about whether I'm seen by the prince or not...."

I smiled.

This is perfect.

I checked the time.

7:37 pm.

...time passes quickly when I'm here....

I sigh and head to the kitchen, preparing dinner for the Fareson family.

The dinner was seafood spaghetti.

I heard laughter from the other side of the door.

It was the queen and king's laughter.

There wasn't a call from the prince....

I smiled, and walked into the dining room, carrying the plates.

I bowed my head toward the queen and the king, placing the plates in front of them.

I stopped short when I heard the door to the dining room open.

Looking over my shoulder, I spotted two figures.

The prince and his little brother, both headed this way.

"My, what a wonderful smell!"

The prince twirled around, prancing toward his seat, his little brother following.

I quickly placed the rest of the plates down, bowed to the king and queen again, and strided over to the door.

Not before someone stopped me.

"Hey, you, the person that served us dinner, do you know who cooked the wonderful meal at lunch?"

The prince asked me joyously.

I smirked, opening the door.

"I did, sir."

I heard footsteps and quickly stepped into the kitchen, but a hand grabbed my wrist, pulling me back.

"And why, might I ask, is your back toward my brother and I?"

I sighed.

"It's none of your business, sir."

The prince gasped.

"How rude-"

"Now, prince, let me go."

I gritted my teeth.

The prince's grip on my wrist tightened.

"How dare you act rude to the prince of this kingdom! Show your face!"

He ordered, pulling me around.

"You, now-"

His eyes widened, and he stopped speaking.

He's done it.

My life is over.

I smiled.

"It's me, prince, the most modest Nathan Blake."

I said, a smile lighting up my face mockingly.

Mason POV

My eyes widen as I stare at the guy who was rude to me and my darling little Amy, but then he was the one who had also cooked the really great and delicious lunch.

Sorry Amy the food was better!!

Nathan smiled mockingly at me.

I smiled back but an earnest one, I skipped up to him and hugged him.

"Ok!! That wasn't to bad now was it? Thanks for Lunch and this Dinner looks just marvelous, can't wait to eat it!"

I went back to my seat and eat the rest of the meal with my family.

"So sons school starts tomorrow. Your packs are waiting by the front door, and hopefully your uniforms will be hanging by your door in the morning."

I nodded a little disappointed, then again I knew no one else my age, in fact I didn't have any friends.

I got up and wiped my mouth, placing the cloth napkin on the plate, I headed back, or more like trudged to my room.

Flopping onto my warm, comfy, and fluffy bed.

I fall asleep.

Golden light fills my light purple room.

I open my eyes, my vision blurry, I stumble out of bed.

I had to wake up earlier than usual..for school reasons.

I find myself face planting on to the cold hard wooden floor.

The door opens and a harsh voice says.

"Get up and get dressed, now. You have school in less than an hour."

I look up and find Nathan staring and frowning down at me.

"Why are you in here?"

I ask sleepily.

"I work here...stupid."

"Stupid?! You dare call ME stupid?!"

I say jumping up and running at him, all sleepiness gone.

He pushes me away with one easy movement, he smirks.

"There that got you awake."

I frown as get my uniform and shrug it on.

I push past him and stomp into my brothers room.

"OLIVER GET THE HELL OUT OF BED!!"

I scream, he tumbles out of bed surprised.

"Morning to you too bro, did you did did did you just cuss?"

I look at him coldly.

"So what if I did?"

I stomp to the stairs and slide down the rail, flipping and landing gracefully on the floor.

"Breakfast, I need breakfast."

I whine earning me a cold look from Nathan.

My brother comes behind me repeating the same thing.

I see Nathan clutch his fists together.

"Currently I am not on duty thank you very much! I am going to school! And I enjoy unlike some other people!"

Nathan says, his teeth clenched.

We all quickly get breakfast and head out the door to the most wonderful thing..schoool.
