"Family day is coming up, For you my friend, it's when your family comes and visits. My parents have never come, but Jill and 'em have their families visit. Jill always looks forward to it. It only happens once a month." Kam smiled walking down the hall like a boss. Kam was an amazing person, he was upbeat and positive. Kam loved people. Kam wanted to be around people.

"My poppa and Momma come down to visit. Their pretty cool. They bring Ali and Joey. I haven't seen Lilli in a while. But I mean it's okay. It's easier for her." Jillian giggled. Tessa knew Jill missed her family. Only seeing them once a month must've been hard. Tessa was struggling without her bratty brother. She missed Markus. Even if she fought it.

"Meg, do your parents come?" Tessa asked Meaghan. Meaghan looked at Tessa and smiled.

"Father come to see Matt with his new family and mom comes to see us both with her boyfriend." Meaghan laughed. Hero looked at his phone.

"My mum is coming this month. She tries to make it every month but it doesn't always work." Hero said happily. Hero missed his mom more than he would say.

"What about Lucy?" Tessa asked. Jillian looked at Tessa. She just got a soft face.

"How much do you know about Luce?" Jill asked, Tessa shrugged.

"Apparently, not a lot." Tessa said. She didn't know much about any of them, other than Jill and Hero, who were the most open people ever.

"She never talks to her parents or even about them. A lot of bad blood under a broken bridge." Meaghan said. Tessa looked back at the loner girl who would rather be alone with a good book than in the group of people. Tessa was very fond of Lucy. She thought it was a shame that her and her parents don't get along very well.

"Momma said, the nice thing to do for her is to make her feel like she has a family. Momma always brings Lucy a box of new clothes and cookies. She has done everything with Lucy like she did with us. Momma likes to help when she can. She says it's a pixie thing and I should start helping my friends more but I don't know how to help. Momma said Milli and I both have the problem. She says it's harder to move on with me become her." Jillian said. She was trying to hard to be happy, even when she was breaking, she wouldn't tell anyone she was hurting. She wanted to be a bit more positive but it was hard some days. No one blamed her.
