Chapter 25-- Video Call

"He is just an idiot." Jillian muttered to Tessa. Tessa nodded. Meaghan silently agreed.

"I wish I could give you a big hug. Lucy hug her for me." Matt said. Lucy gave Tessa a big hug.
"He doesn't know how valuable you are. You are never a freak, you never were." Meaghan said. She tried to reached her hand out to her friend.

"I know. But I felt like an idiot because I loved him. He was such a big part of my life." Tessa said wiping a tear. Lucy pulled her close.

"I'll beat him up." Hero said trying to act tough.

"Only if you want, I mean." Hero smiled nicely. Tessa laughed.
"Thank you, but I'm good." Tessa smiled at Hero.

"I can go down and speak with this little ass. You don't treat anyone like that. He doesn't know how to respect people." Matt said angry.

"Hey, Matt, keep your chill." Meaghan said. Matt calmed down.
"I agree with Matt. He acted like she wasn't a part of his life, like she was never important to him. I saw his heart break. You don't treat any of my girls like that. You four got that right? If any guy or girl gets rude and mistreats you, I'll kill'em." Kam said. He looked at Jillian. Jillian smiled. She thought that Kam was a god. She knew him so well. But he was so close to Lucy, she would feel bad trying to taking that away. She understood that Lucy had a connection to Kamio.

"Jill, time for bed." Jillian's mom shouted in the distance.

"Momma, I'm on the phone with my frien-" Jill started.
"Bed, young lady." Her mother repeated.

"Good night Nessie, Kam, Mayhem, Kam, Luce, Matty, Hero." Jillian said.

"Keep your head up, we will be together before you know it and it'll be like none of this happened, and we can find clues to Nessie's past and her parents in the new school year and... I love you guys." Jillian said.

"Good night" Everyone said together. They all hung up.

"I'm going to get a drink." Tessa smiled at her friends in her room with her.
