Chapter 20-- The Plan

"Okay, the plan is simple. Meaghan will wait and listen for Tara to leave her office, she will give the signal and that's when Hero will go and 'dump' into her in the hall. We have a story picked. Jillian and I will slip into her office from the window Kam and Lucy will stand one each sides outside of where Hero and headmaster are. If she heads back to go to her office, send Matt to come and warn us." Tessa explained her plan in full detail.

"Got it." Kam said. Hero looked confused.

"What story?" He asked confusedly. Tessa groaned

"That you think one of the dragons escaped, if she asks with one, say Philly. She'll help try and get him back into the barn. Remember to get him out. Open the barn door. He'll come out by himself." Tessa explained some more. Everyone nodded. Meaghan climbed up into the tree and watched. After about ten minutes she nodded. Hero and Kam opened the barn door for Philly's barn and cut his chain. Hero ran into the school. Tessa and Jillian got into the office and started to looked around for anything they could find. Jillian looked out the window to see Hero standing there beside Tara as he looked shocked by the big beautiful dragon.

"You'd swear, that boy has never seen a dragon before." Jillian giggled. A massive thump was felt under there feet.

"Jillian. I found it. Let's go." Tessa said. Jillian sat down. Tessa signed and looked at her friend.

"Come on. Jill." Tessa said walking over to her. Jillian shook her head. Tessa pulled her arm but Jill didn't move.

"As long as Hamlet is out there, no freaking way. If he wanted to he'd take anyone's head off. Hero is screwed and that's his own problem. We never should have let Philly out of his barn. It should have been Stone. Hamlet wouldn't have come if it was a youngling. He doesn't look after the younglings but her looks after the older dragons and when Philly gets out it's Hamlets job to get him back in the barn." Jill said. Tessa moaned.

"We NEED to get out now. We can run. You can fly! You're a pixie. C'mon." Tessa begged. Jillian looked at Tessa.

"I can't fly 'till I'm 16." Jillian said. She got up and they ran across the field. To the safe spot.

"Tessa, Hamlet joined. What do we do?" Meaghan asked. Tessa shrugged.

"We have to get Hero outta there." Tessa said looking at Meaghan. Kam, Lucy, and Matt came running. Lucy looked at Meaghan and smiled.

"Get Magic, Devil, and Angel. We're running him out of here." Lucy said. She smiled.

"My turn. Okay, Jill, Do you remember how to ride?" Lucy asked Jillian. Jillian nodded.

"Like the back of my hand. But my pegasus isn't here any longer." Jillian said. Lucy nodded.

"You ride Magic. I'm riding Devil and Tessa, you can ride Angel." Lucy demanded.

"I've never ridden before." Tessa said looking at Lucy worriedly.

"There's a first time for everything." Lucy said. Tessa nodded. Meaghan came back with the 3 winged horses. Magic and Angel were both all white and Devil was white with a black stomach and spots covering him along with black wings unlike the rest of them who are 100% white. Tessa, Jill, and Lucy got on the pegasuses. They flew off.

"Okay, all at once." Lucy yelled.
