Tessa learned fast that not everyone is nice to everyone. Tessa learned about the negative comments made about her and people like her. The few humans who know about their world were mean. Saying it was stupid. Tessa loved to learn about the different mythical creatures, the ones still living and no longer alive. She loved meeting other cross-breed creatures and the animals that inhabited the mythical world, unicorns, dragons, Chimera, hippocampus, Yeti, Pegasus, griffin, hippogriff, basilisk, kelpie, Minotaur, and manticore. Tessa loved spending time in the stable with the unicorns, Pegasuses, griffin and chimera. Tessa's favorite was Maxwell the chimera.  Chimera were a cross of lion, goat, and snake. Maxy loved to spend time Tessa because she would be there. Jill loved the griffin, her name was Chilly. A griffin is a cross between an eagle and lion. They had dragons on campus as well but they were in separate stables. Each family (mother and baby) had their own but the males had their own barn. They only had four adult dragons and three babies. No one sees the main breeder. Hamlet. Tessa knows all the rumors how he has a born with a metal shielding. He doesn't live on campus but in the forest around. If you listen close enough to find him. Hear him running. Stone, a baby dragon is supposed to take his place when he's old enough. They have much hope in him. He was the only boy and has a love for people. He loves them too much to not live with them. They try and keep his isolated from his mother, Mini, but he screams every time he's taken. His mother has started to refuse them. Mini wouldn't sit still for a stable or riding lessons. She wouldn't let anyone ride her. But she was best female breeder and helmets favorite. Tessa sat with Maxwell and petted him.

"You know, Max, there's a world outside this place. If you could fly, would you leave?" Tessa said, almost expected the animal to answer her. She looked at the massive beast.

"If you told me just a month ago, that I would be sitting here, beside a Chimera, I wouldn't have even known what a Chimera was. But I did, I would've laughed because, you didn't existed a month ago. Now I can ride you and pet you and play with you." Tessa continued to wait. She knew that Max couldn't talk. Tessa was deep in thought. She thought about how her life was no longer the same. 'Can I even go home after this? Would I be able to look at Luca? Luca, how I miss him. He probably has some other girl hanging on him. we were together for 2 years, how could he even being to move on, if he loved me why would he make me pick. He just doesn't understand.' Tessa thought to herself.

"I wondered when you would find the stable." Tessa heard a voice behind her. It made her jump.

"Oh. Hi, I didn't notice you. Sorry Headmaster." Tessa stood up to greet Tara.

"Darling, you need to take time to yourself. Sit. I was just wondering where Maxwell went. Someone reported him missing. He doesn't wonder, but is violent so we like to know where he is. Has he attacked you?" Tara asked as she put her hand on his head. He roared.

"No. He's just been listening to me rant about my boy- ex boyfriend." Tessa corrected herself. Tara laughed.

"Was he human?" Tara asked. Tessa nodded and wiped away a tear from her eye.

"He was but he's a player." Tessa said, trying not to cry. Tara hugged her. Tara tried to comfort the young girl in tears.

"Did you love him?" Tara asked. Tessa started to cry.

Did she love him? Was snow cold? Was rain yet? Did the sun come up everyday? Did the moon give peace? Did people die?

Of course. Tessa loved him. He meant so much to Tessa. She wouldn't have stayed two years in the hell h e put her through if she didn't love him. She wouldn't done anything, if given the chance to, to get him back, without leaving the school. Tessa wanted him more than breath.

"Very much." Tessa smiled. She thought of all the memories her and Luca had. Luca was strong and smart. He acted like a moron and he acted mean but he was so gentle with her. He was so calm. So peaceful. Tara smiled.

"Than why break up? Yes, it's hard to be with him when you can't see him, but when your birth mother fell in love with a human boy, she fought for him." Tara said. Tessa looked up and wiped her tears.

"My birth mother?" Tessa asked.
