Tessa and the crew were climbing onto the wagon when Matt came out of the barn. He got on the wagon and sat beside Meaghan and Jillian. Jillian put her head on Tessa getting ready for the long summer looking for her family. Tessa gently moved Jillian's hair out of her face and started to talk with Hero. She talked about Markus and her life. He laughed at the funny parts and smiled at the happy.
"My dad walked out when I was only a few years old. My brother keeps saying he remembers him, mom doesn't want to hurt him. So she she agrees." Tessa said. Hero smiled.
"Where did you grow up?" Hero asked. He loved learning about new people.
"I grew up in Seattle." Tessa said.
"What about you, where did you grow?" Tessa asked Hero back.
"Well I was born in England and raised there until I 6 and then I moved to New York after my dad died, but I don't care. He didn't impact my life any. My mom just wanted child checks." Hero said laughing, he thought it was funny that his mom came from a wealthy family but she hated his dad so much, she wanted his money to buy tampons and stuff like that. But she looked after him well and she loved him.
"Kam's a dark person isn't he?" Tessa asked Hero. Hero nodded.
"I AM NOT DARK, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" Kam yelled from the front of the wagon where he was sitting with Meaghan. Meaghan laughed.
"You may not be but Matt sure is." Meaghan laughed. Matt climbed onto the wagon and fell asleep. So he is just napping. Meaghan just looked at her brother for a moment.
"TREE! TREE! TREE! TREE! TREE! TREE! TREE! TREE! TREE! TREE!" Jillian shouted loudly. Meaghan looked backed at the road and swerved King away from the tree quickly. Jillian gripped the side of the wagon tightly, not wanting to let go.
"I. Hate. You." Jillian muttered out, looking at Meaghan. Meaghan laughed.
"Sorry guys. Damn horse doesn't know what he's doing." Meaghan giggled. She continued to laugh as they trotted along. She'd speed up at some points and stop at others to make Jill angry because It was funny when Jillian was angry. As mean as Meaghan was to Jillian, she wanted the best for her little friend, who was there when no one else was and understood everything that she was going through and Jill wanted to help as best possible.
