Chapter 17-- Graduation Prep.

Graduation came quickly. It was that time of year where Tara had to let them go. They got to pick where they went. Back to the mortal world or stay as apart of the creatures. Some would even stay at the school. Meaghan would. Meaghan was graduating her time at the school. She decided to stay and finish her schooling here. She didn't want to leave yet. She stay until Matt graduated. Than Hero would be alone.

Meaghan was getting ready for graduation with her friends. They held with her make-up and her dress. They helped her.

"Tessa, you ready for this?" Meaghan asked. Tessa laughed.

"We should be asking you that! Graduating high school. That's scary shit!" Tessa joked as she put Meaghan's eye make-up over her brown eyes. Meaghan laughed.

"Don't move!" Tessa freaked, Meaghan stopped moving and let Tessa finish her make-up. Lucy stood in the corner watching them. She didn't know what to think as all their friends were doing something. Kam stood beside her, almost like he was protecting her.

King, one of the male unicorn on campus, watched from the window as his rider got ready. He didn't want his rider to leave. She was on the unicorn polo team and her unicorn was King. After she graduated, someone else would get to ride the prize winning unicorn. He didn't like that. Polo is a mortal sport that includes riding horses around a field hitting balls, it is usually done with 4 on a team.

Tessa saw King standing in the window watching his riding. She gently nudged Meaghan. Meaghan looked over her shoulder and saw him. She stood up and walked over to him. She knelt down and started petting his light brown mane and his black coat.

"Listen boy, I'm not going to be able to ride you. You'll have a new rider soon." She whispered to the unicorn.

"Boy, you need to get back to the field." She said kissing his nose. She shooed him away. He took a step back. Tara walked up to the window. She looked into the room.

"Kam, leave the girls dressing corridor. Sexual orientation has no excuse to be in the girls rooms. Meaghan, this was King's last year. He is retiring after this season. Graduating with the seniors this year. What we do is, normally retire older house after they're riders leave the school so they can take the unicorn with them. But King is a special case since we have to wait for the new male breeder to come in, but once he does, King is yours, if you want him." Tara said. Kam left the room with Lucy. They were going to get ready for the seniors graduation. Meaghan smiled.

"Of course I want him, but I have no place to keep him." Meg said happily.

"Here of course. Finish getting ready." Tara said. With that she was gone with King.
