Not Again.

"You're free to go Mrs." He unlocked the cell and I walked out to see Andy just staring as if he couldn't believe his eyes.

"Save it." I was in no mood to argue. I just wanted to go home and sleep it's been a long night.

There was a knock on my door but I was too drained to move so I just made a noise that basically sounded like a dying giraffe.

"Ray Ray?" Rina hid behind the door. I made another noise basically asking what the hell do you want. She walked in and sat on the edge of my bed.

"Andy called me. He's worried about you Dyin. You haven't been home in two days then he picks you up from the sheriff's office? What the hell?!"

I rolled over. "Don't worry about it. It's my life. I don't have to answer to you now get out."

"But Dylin-"

"I SAID OUT!" She hung her head and walked out. I was too worked uo to sleep. I grabbed my phone to see of I had any missed calls or messages. Of course not. I threw my phone on my bed and stared at the ceiling. Why me? "WHY ME??" I cried. I cried so hard I couldn't breathe. This isn't who I am. Who am I anymore? Even I can't answer that. In my defense I've been through a lot this past month. I wiped my tears and sat up. I refuse to dwell over the past. That is behind me. I opened my closet looking for something to wear when it completely smacks me in the face that Halloween is tomorrow. I called Kammie to see what the move was. She said her cousin Noah was having a party and that she'd meet up with me later go costume shopping. I have no idea what I want to be. Maybe Harley Quinn. I don't know I don't think I have the body for that. I threw on some black ripped jeans with black on black converse. And topped it off with Roger Rabbit shirt. Grabbed my phone and I was on my way.

"Well you look nice." Kammie giggled. I just smiled back.

"So what did you have in mind? Sexy bunny? How about a black cat??"

"I was thinking Harley Quinn." I shrugged. "Who?" She looked at me confused while holding up a tutu.

"From batman???" She still looked lost.

"Uhhh no. Oh! I got it." She grabbed a sparkly red dress hidden on the rack. My jaw dropped. It was gorgeous.

"Jessica Rabbit???" My eyes lit up with joy. I took the dress from her immediately and ran to the dressing room.

"Come on out I wanna see it." When I walked out she was jumping with joy. Literally.

"I'm not bad I'm just drawn that way." I smirked. I stared at myself in the mirror. "This doesn't fit me."

"You need another size?" I shook my head.

"No. I mean the idea doesn't fit me. I don't have the boobs. Or the tight skinny waist." I paused and looked at Kammie. "Can we try again?" She nodded. I took the dress of and put it back. I wanted something to fit my personality. Finally it hit me like a brick wall.

"The Little Mermaid." Kammie walked towards me.

"The who what huh?"

"Ariel from The Little Mermaid."

"Think I can make that work." With that she ran off. About 15 minutes later she came back with a blue dress and a puffy blue bow. I squealed with excitement. After all Ariel is my favorite princess ever. I put the dress on and almost cried. "This is it." I smiled. After we were done shopping I realized I had a missed call. I played the voicemail and it was Mitch. I can't believe I missed his call again. This one sounded more sad and depressing. I just want him to come home.

There was an hour till the party. I was at Kammie's getting ready. This was my first Halloween party. I was beyond excited. We smoked a little before it was time to go. When we go to the party there was tons of people and the house was massive. Noah found us at the door. "Dylin Ray?"

"Um the one and only." He knows me?

"You don't remember me? We met in sixth grade on that train ride." OH MY GOD.

"Noah?!??!" He laughed.

"Let me get you a drink princess." I followed him the the bar.

"So how have you been?" He slams the empty shot glass on the table.

"Been better."

"Is that so?" He paused. "Seeing anyone?" He stired his drink. I honestly had no clue.

"No I'm not." Damn word vomit.

"I gotta be honest Dylin seein' you here brings back a lot." Before I could say a word he grabbed my face and kissed me. I didn't even try to fight it. I honestly think I didn't want to. He pulled away and looked into my eyes.

"Dylin I-" He was cut off by the sound of a blood-curdling scream. "What the hell?" He ran to the back bathroom where the scream came from.

"I just wanted to pee and Marney is dead." Lacey cried. There was blood everywhere. Guts strung out on the floor. I couldn't take it. I searched for Kammie and begged her to call her dad. She finally agreed. After that I couldn't find Noah. And I have no clue what he was trying to tell me. I flopped in the grass outside all of the chaos. "No one said high school would be this hard."
