Chapter 10 Getting Ready

Mordecai and Rigby played video games like usual. There was name calling and punches here and there. Mordecai felt relief for a second it felt like it was just the two of them again. That is until the phone rang. Rigby took and glance at his phone and in a very enthusiastic voice said

"It's Kyle!" As he left his control on the couch and went into the kitchen.

Mordecai was ticked off, "I don't see why he had to leave the room." He said as he played by himself, for a while soon getting bored.

He signs and went to find Rigby. Peeking in be could see Rigby sitting down on the chair, his voice sounded excited.

"Mhm sure, yeah alright no problem, yeah he won't mind, I'm sure there's space right? Yeah, then It's fine. Yeah, that would be even better! Alright, see you soon." Said Rigby as he hung up with a small smile.

"Who was that?" Asked Mordecai scaring Rigby for a second.

"Dude don't do that, I almost had a heart attack," Rigby said with a roll of his eyes, Mordecai was getting pissed off, but just said

"Sorry, who was on the phone?"

Rigby gave him a look.

"Dude, didn't I say it was Kyle before I left the room? "

"Oh right...." Mordecai said now realizing his mistake. "So what did he say?"

"He asked if it was okay to give us a ride and I said yeah it was fine, and it's better and stuff. I told him I didn't know if we had to pick up the girls as well but he said it was alright and that he had space."

"Wait so he's going to pick us up?"

"Yeah I mean you don't have a problem with that right?"

"I guess not but, won't it be weird?"

"How will it be weird? A group of friends in a car going to the same place....it doesn't sound weird."

"No, I meant you two know each other while I'm just a third wheel...."

Rigby laughed

"Dude you make it sound like I'm dating him! Relax! Kyle and I thought that you could walk Marget home after and stuff. "

Mordecai thought for a moment before saying "hmm yeah that would be romantic"

"Yep! See I told you Kyle would be a great help!"

"Yeah yeah," Mordecai said rolling his eyes with a bit of a smile.

"Alright let's get ready!" Said Rigby

"Whoa hold up dude, you getting really excited." Said Mordecai with an eyebrow raised.

"Well yeah man! We're going ice skating! It's going to be so much fun!"

"Dude you've never been ice skating before... You do know how difficult it is right?"

"Relax man it's just like roller skating but on ice right? Then no problem." Said Rigby as he ran upstairs.

"That's no what it is! Their two different things!" Mordecai yelled. Knowing that Rigby probably didn't hear or care. He rolled his eyes and ran after him.

As he entered his room he noticed Rigby in the closet making a bigger mess.

"Dude! Stop your making a mess! Well, a bigger one!"

"I just can't find this shirt!"

"What shirt?"

"A red one I have!"

Mordecai took a look around and spotted a red shirt under the piles of other shirts

"You mean this one?"

Rigby turn and said "Yes! That's it! Thanks where was it?"

"Under your pile..."

"Oh yeah...hmm," said Rigby as he took a sniff of the shirt. "Oh man, oh wow...it doesn't...okay hmm maybe if I...yeah. That would work. Hey, Mordecai can I use your man perfume?

"It's not called a man perfume and for what?...don't tell me you plan on using it on the shirt that totally smells."

"Ummm......."

"Rigby! That's gross! Just wear your usual clothes."

"I can't do that!."

"Why not? You do it all the time, even on real data's that's never stopped you before." Question Mordecai.

Rigby thought for a moment.

"Yeah I guess...but I want to look nice...I don't know why I just do..." Rigby said as his face showed confusion.

Mordecai signs and went to look for a clean shirt that could fit Rigby.

"Here you can take this, I got the wrong size, but never went back to change it so here, just stop pouting."

Rigby took the blue shirt and smelled it. It smelled clean and of something else that Rigby couldn't quite put his finger on it. But didn't care he had a clean shirt and that was all that mattered.

"Thanks, man!" He said as he removed his shirt

And placed it on his bed.

"No problem dude" said Mordecai as he watched Rigby take off his shirt. His back looked so soft, a few busies here and there from their adventures. Snapping out of his thoughts as a shade of blue covered Rigby's back.

Rigby trun to look at Mordecai

"So? How so I look?" He asked fixing his hair a bit.

"Umm.." Mordecai looked at Rigby up and down. Any other day, if Rigby had that sweater on he, would look the same, like a dork. But now..he looked different.

"You look nice...I guess..." Mordecai said as he fixed his hair.

"Okay good, just making sure."

"Dude would you realx! This isn't a data alright." Mordecai said getting pissed off that Rigby wanted to look nice for Kyle.

"I know I know, it's just I want to make sure Kyle doesn't think I'm still messy and stuff." Rigby said .

Mordecai rolled his eyes. As he finished getting ready as well.

"Whatever man I'm ready, you?"

"Yep! I'm going to text Kyle that were ready!"

"Yeah yeah, and I'll make sure Margaret is ready too. "

They both said as they texted while walking down the stairs to wait by the couch.

Well that was short, haha yeah I am so sorry! I thought I would have time and ideas but I didn't. Also, I forgot...I'm very surprised that people read this cause I thought it was bad. lol. But yeah this is a small chapter to thank you and sorry for the long wait. I don't promise that you'll get a chapter next week but I will try to write next month. Thank you so much guys.
