Two weeks later//LA.

"Oh my god walk faster Denis!" I breathed, power walking towards my apartment where my mother was with Matty.

"I'm trying- I'm not that fit!" He groaned, stumbling after me.

I was way too excited, finally home for good. All I can say is that I'm never leaving without Matty ever again.

"You have longer legs than me! Try!" I giggled, scanning my card along the buzzer. The doors glided open and we walked towards the elevator.

"Now that we're in an elevator, can you chill?" He chuckled, resting his head on mine.

"Nuh uh- Mattys right in this building!"

"You're cute."

"Shush." I blushed, kissing his cheek before the elevator doors opened.

Denis continued to laugh at me whilst I practically ran towards my door. Finally, no words can ever explain my love for this little boy.

He was and still is my everything. I can't believe I allowed some cocaine ridden manager to separate us for so long.

The door swung open, Matty running for me instantly.

"Mamama!" He cooed as I picked him up and hugged him ever so tightly.

I couldn't even speak. I just cuddled him close.

"Mommy's Home for good now baby." I smiled, sniffling slightly.

"Hello to you too dear- ah! Well if it isn't Denis Shaforostov!" My mom grinned.

"Hey mom." I chuckled, resting Matty on my hip, his head rested on my shoulder as he blabbered nonsense. "Also yeah, Denis is back."

"Dada!" Matty giggled, reaching for Denis.

I handed him over, attempting to hide the glimmering ring that occupied my finger.

"Matty's been talking about you two coming home all day, he's missed you Lana." She smiled.

"Words can't describe how much I missed him mom." I sighed, looking at Denis and Matty who were hugging.

"I would say so- oh my god." My mom gasped.

"What?"

"Is that a ring!" She squealed, "Oh my-"

My eyes widened as I looked down at the ring.

"Uh yeah- I know you're probably gonna flip but-"

"Lana no! This is amazing! Jesus! Woah Denis nice job- it's so beautiful, my god my daughters getting married." My mom gasped, tearing up.

"Mom!" I giggled, feeling myself tear up also.

"Sorry for doing it without asking." Denis chuckled, "but I just had to. She's the one for me."

"Don't worry about it silly." My mom tutted, "I couldn't imagine my daughter marrying anyone else- I mean you two have been insuperable since such a young age!"

The rest of the day consisted of my mother and Denis conversing whilst I spent time with Matty.

For once, it was good to be in LA.
