James grins glancing down at your hand on the table and reaches out for it; he gently squeezes it as you move it quickly so your fingers are entwined with his. You smile at him as he mouths "I missed you." before giving another squeeze.
"Mommy, uncle Los!" Mia squeals as she points to the tv as Fox barks.
You pull your hand away slowly and walk to Mia with James following. James turns up the volume.
"Carlos Pena, recently broke up with Trina. Carlos is single and obviously showing Trina what she's missing out on. -shows a picture of Carlos laughing and having smoothies with a blonde- Carlos is a chick magnet lately, just has every girl in his arms in seconds-" The tv says before James turns it off.
You laugh.
"Wow, Carlos Mr. Chick Magnet; I didn't know he was getting so big so fast with his modelling." You say as you pick up Mia.
"I wanna see uncle Los!" Mia squeals squirming in your arms.
"Yeah, well he got big with the past year." James says looking at the time. "Uncle Los should've finished work so wanna see him? We can see him now."
"But only if you're good." You say as you put Mia back down.
Fox licks her face again.
"She likes him and he likes her." You smile as James puts his arm around you.
"It's a good thing." James says smiling.
You smile before grabbing your handbag and heading out to the car again; you buckle Mia into the car and sit into the passenger seat. James starts driving.
"I hope Carlos gets a surprise." You say smiling.
"If he had no idea then of course he'd get a surprise." James replies. "Let's just hope there's not many photographers."
"Uh I hope not." You say groaning a little.
You finally arrive at the house and see only a few photographers. You grab Mia from the back and hold her as the cameras come to the car.
"I'll come round and let you out, don't say anything to them because they're assholes." James nods getting out.
James comes around and opens your door as you get out; the people ask you questions which you ignore like James said. You knock on the door and Carlos answers.
"Surprise uncle Los!" Mia squeals tossing her hands in the air.
Carlos stands in surprise as he hugs you and Mia.
"Come on in." He smiles as you walk inside with James and Mia.
You shut the door and hand Mia to Carlos.
"Oh my god what are you doing here?" He asks kissing your cheek and poking Mia's sides as she giggles.
"Just visiting." You smirk. "It was a surprise and I haven't seen you in so long or Logan or Sam."
"How did James find out?" Carlos asks winking.
"I ran into her at an store." James laughs. "Then we went back at mine to catch up."
"Want to play with Mia while I check out the rest of the house?" You ask Carlos.
"Yeah, it's your house just as much as mine. It's your home too." He smiles walking into the living room with Mia as James follows you up the stairs to your old room...
