James Maslow: Chances PT 36

You sigh softly as you sit on the bed beside him picking up the cut up photos. It's of him and his ex's; Carlos slowly rolls over groaning. 

"Hey Carlos." You say softly smiling rubbing his arm. 

He turns and looks at you. 

"YN, hey." He yawns sitting up noticing the photos he left on the bed. 

"Wanna talk about what happened after we left?" You ask picking up the halved photos. 

"Love is so complicated." Carlos sighs laying back down. 

"I know what you mean." You sigh and lay with him. "I was in love with Kendall, madly in love. We did everything together." 

You smile softly to yourself as you speak. 

"Then I met James, this random guy who I had to teach at work." You say. "And right from the moment I met him, deep down I knew he was the one; I tried to deny my feelings for him while I was with Kendall and that was the hardest thing I ever had to do." 

"You just knew when you saw James?" Carlos asks. 

"I did, deep down." You smile. "What I'm trying to say is even through you might think you're in love with someone, you're probably blinded by the feeling of love until your true love walks in the room." 

Carlos nods quickly looking at the ceiling. 

"You're right, I shouldn't keep rushing; I should just wait for that right person to come to me." Carlos smiles as Sam glances in the room. 

"Oh, good you found him." She laughs softly. "There was a phone call for you Carlos, apparently you're you're doing a modelling shoot with Alexa Vega." 

"Okay, sweet." Carlos smiles. 

"Do you know who Alexa Vega is?" You ask sitting up. 

"She's obviously a model?" He shrugs. 

"She's a famous actress! The cute daughter is spy kids?" You ask as he slowly nods. 

You roll your eyes, grab your phone and show him some Alexa Vega pictures. His mouth drops. 

"Oh my god! She's gorgeous and sexy." Carlos says as you close his mouth. "What if she's the one?" 

"Whoa, what? Carlos down, what happened to letting the girl finding you?" You ask confused. 

"I did, next week I'll be meeting the perfect woman." Carlos grins. 

You shake your head. 

"Good luck." You say getting off the bed. "By the way, when you meet Alexa, could you pretty please get her autograph for me?" 

You beg grinning as he gets off the bed and laughs. 

"Sure." He grins. "And thanks, you made me feel so much better."

You hug Carlos as he hugs you back. 

"I don't like seeing you sad so I have to try." You say squeezing him.

Carlos looks at his watch. 

"I haven't even started dinner yet." Carlos says slowly pulling away. 

"Logan's cooking...So you may wanna go and help him." You laugh. 

Carlos walks out as you follow. James walks over to you and hands you a glass of wine smiling. 

"Thanks, how did Mia go?" You smile sipping the wine. "Not too heavy?" 

"Take a look for yourself." James grins as you follow him up to your room. 

He opens the door for you as you peak in a smile as you see Mia fast asleep with Fox sleeping with her under one of her arms like she was cuddling him. You quickly grab your phone and take a picture. 

"That is seriously the cutest sight." You say.

James calls Sam, Logan and Carlos over. 

"Awe such a sweethearts." Sam says smiling. 

"Those two are destined to grow up together." Logan grins. 

"As are YN and James meant to be together." Carlos smiling as James kisses your head. 

"Awh guys stop it." You laugh hiding your head in James chest. 

James chuckles and rubs your back shutting the door; leaving it slightly open. 

"What's for dinner mister chef?" Sam asks nudging Logan. 

"Well...If I get a kiss, I can tell you." Logan winks pointing to his 'Kiss The Chef' apron. 

Sam leans up and kisses him. 

"What's for dinner? But I'm not kissing you." Carlos asks laughing. 

"Come look for yourself." Logan laughs leading you into the kitchen...
