James Maslow: Chances PT 30

You smile before walking back to Carlos and he hands you a cup of coffee that he just made while you and James said your goodbyes. 
"Thanks Carlos." You smile sitting down sipping the coffee. 
Carlos sips his coffee. 
"I was watching Kendall as you and James were saying goodbye and he didn't look too happy." Carlos said as you both glance at Kendall. 
"What do you mean not happy?" You ask. 
"He kinda looked jealous." Carlos nods. 
"Jealous? He cheated-" You start. 
"Who knows what's going through his head, but if he is jealous; he's not back in your life just for Mia." Carlos says sipping the coffee. 
"You think he's trying to get in my good books again so I can date him?" You ask. 
Carlos shrugs as Mia starts to cry. 
"Uh YN." Kendall calls gently picking up Mia. 
You look back at Kendall and Mia before standing and walking over. 
"Awh is someone tired? Let's have a nap." You say taking Mia from Kendall and walking to the bedroom. 
Kendall starts walking after you. 
"Kendall, a word." Carlos says motioning to a chair in front of him. 
Kendall glances at you before walking to the dining area and taking a seat in front of Carlos.
"What did you want to talk about?" Kendall asks. 
"I never liked you, nor will I ever like you for betraying YN." Carlos says. "So I guess the question is, why do you want to ruin her life again? You were out of it and she was happy." 
"I didn't come into this for her, I wanted to get to know my daughter." Kendall says. 
"Really? You were the one saying you don't want to be a father." Carlos states. 
"That was 3 years ago; I'm ready for something like this now." Kendall nods. 
"If you were in it just for Mia, you shouldn't of looked like you wanted to kill James when him and YN were kissing at the door." Carlos says finishing the coffee. "You're a bullshit liar and I'm not the only one who can see what you're trying to do." 
"Whatever you think I'm trying to do, is not what I'm trying to do." Kendall says. "So stop trying to get involved with things that has nothing to do with you." 
"This is my house; you don't dare talk to me like that or I'll throw you outside." Carlos says fisting his hands. 
"And what will the photographers say about your aggressiveness?" Kendall smirks.
Carlos glares at Kendall as you walk back into the dining area and sit down. 
"She's finally asleep." You smile finishing off the coffee.
"So YN, how long are you in town for?" Kendall asks. 
"Only for this week, then Mia and I will be heading back to LA." You say.
"So what's going to happen when I want to see her?" Kendall asks. 
"What do you mean?" You ask. 
"I kinda want to see Mia on a regular basis." Kendall says...
