Kendall looks down as you shake your head.
"Don't make me feel bad for you, I did trust you again." You start. "This time with my daughter too...When you come back after sorting your feelings out, I'll be in LA with her, I don't want you to call, text, email or anything until you have sorted out those feelings you have."
Kendall nods without saying anything; you know he knows what he did was wrong.
"You can say a quick goodbye to her before leaving." You say softly walking away.
You feel Kendall grab your hand softly.
"I am...I am sorry; I should've accepted the fact I had my chance with you and I was the one who ruined that." Kendall says as his voice cracks. "I guess I wanted you in my life again because you brought joy and a smile to my face and I felt loved...But if I cared, I'd let you be happy and that's with James and I won't come between you both."
You don't say anything, you stand there before glimpsing at him and letting your hand slide out of his before walking inside; Kendall slowly follows behind you.
"Hey Mia." You say walking to the door frame of the living room.
James, Mia and Alexa's eyes move to you.
"Mind coming to say goodbye to Kendall?" You ask as she stands and walks to you.
"But daddy just got here." Mia complains.
"Don't worry sweetie, I'll be back soon." Kendall mentions standing next to you picking her up. "I'm going on a mini vacation for my job...But I'll be back soon."
Mia wraps her arms around Kendall's neck and hugs him tight as he does the same to he; you sigh and look down.
"I'll wait for you outside." You nod walking away.
James watches you walk noticing you're really hurt from this; you lean against the railing and shake your head.
"I get myself in crappy situations." You say to yourself.
You hear the door open from behind you and see Kendall walk out.
"I guess I'll see you sometime eventually." Kendall mentions leaning beside you on the railing.
"Yeah, Mia does want you around so I hope things don't take too much time on the vacation." You reply. "But make sure you're 100% with your feelings before you come back."
You look over at him and he nods before standing up straight.
"I will." Kendall says turning to you.
You stand up straight too.
"Can I have one for the road? It'll be my last one for a while." Kendall chuckles opening his arms.
You smile softly before leaning into his arms and hugging him back; Kendall's chin leans on your shoulder while you rub his back.
"See you round." You say softly before pulling away.
Kendall nods slowly pulling away; you lean back against the railing as you watch Kendall walk out to the car and drive away.
"That's the end of that for a while." You mumble before walking in.
James and Alexa looks at you while Mia plays with her blocks.
"Everything all good?" James asks as you look over at him.
"Everything's good." You smile before walking over.
You sit on the couch and hold his hand and kiss his cheek while he sits in the wheelchair grinning like an idiot.
"I love you." You whisper against his skin.
"I love you." James replies back kissing your cheek back.
You smile and kiss his lips softly yet passionately.
"Mommy!" Mia squeals making you pull away.
You see Mia covering her eyes making both you and James laugh.
"Oh come on Mia, one day you're going to fall in love and kiss a guy." Alexa laughs.
"No, no." Mia replies. "Boys have cooties."
"You'll be surprised honey." You smile before glancing at James...
