"Mia, why are you being rude to James?" Carlos asks eating his egg.
"James is mean." Mia says frowning and crossing her arms.
"I didn't do anything." James says with sadness in his voice and shocked face.
Mia frowns.
"Come on Mia, let's have a talk." You say giving James a supported smile.
James nods slightly at you back as you take Mia into the next room sitting her on a chair.
"Do you want to explain to me what you did back there?" You ask sitting in front of her.
"I didn't do anything." Mia says pouting.
"You were rude to James." You reply crossing your arms.
Mia looks down, frowning and you sigh.
"Mia, can you just tell me why you were rude?" You ask looking at her.
Mia slowly brings her eyes to yours before looking down.
"Jamie's a bad person mommy." Mia says softly.
"Sweetie, he's not a bad person." You say confused at why she'd think that. "Why do you say he is?"
Mia doesn't answer and she shrugs.
"You can tell me, I'm your mom." You say stroking her cheek.
Mia stays silent.
"Okay...well, just let me know when you want to talk love." You kiss her head. "Until you decide to act polite to James, you stay here and no toys."
"But mom-" Mia starts before standing with a shocked and disappointed look on her face.
"No buts, you can't be rude to James." You say standing. "When you decide you want to say sorry and be nicer you can get up and leave this corner."
Mia sighs frustratedly and sits back down in the corner. You walk back into the kitchen as James and Carlos are washing dishes.
"How did the talk go?" James asks as he wipes the plate.
"I got no answers to why she was so rude." You say leaning on the bench. "I said she can sit there until she's ready to apologize and tell us why she's acting so rude."
"YN, You really didn't have to." James says as he walks over to you.
"But I did, there's a reason she's being rude and I need to know." You say wrapping your arms around his waist.
He puts his arms around your shoulders and hugs you placing his head on yours.
"You're the best." James whispers.
"Hopefully Mia comes and tells us why she's been acting rude." Carlos says walking to you and James.
"Hey mam, can you give me a lift to the studio on your way to work?" James asks Carlos.
"You know, I still want that song you promised me." You smirk at James.
"I'll sing one to you, I just have to make sure it's perfect." James says laughing.
James kisses your nose as Carlos looks at his watch.
"We'll have to leave now because I promised Alexa I'll meet up with her before our shoot." Carlos says grabbing his jacket.
"Naw okay." James says pouting.
"I'll see you after work." You say kissing James softly goodbye.
"Looking forward to it, I miss you already." James says kissing you back.
"I'll see you too Los." You say as Carlos walks out with James.
"Catch you later." Carlos smiles before getting in the car.
They drive off down the street leaving you alone with Mia; you look over at her and she's sitting down facing the wall with her arms crossed. You sigh and sit at the counter after making yourself a coffee; 15 minutes later after you're finally dressed and ready for the day wearing: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/369224869420326421/ thinking that when Mia finally talks to you about why she's being rude, you can take her to the beach to enjoy the rest of your day. You hear a knock at the door and answer it.
"Kendall, hey, come in." You say opening the door wider for him.
"Hey, you didn't forget I was coming today again, did you?" Kendall asks laughing.
You check the time.
"Nope, right on schedule." You smile and Mia turns around.
"Daddy!" Mia squeals about to get up.
"No Mia, you can come see Kendall when you talk to me, until then you stay there." You frown sticking by your punishment.
Mia frowns and sits back down. Kendall looks confused and sits with you at the counter.
"What's that all about?" Kendall asks.
"It's nothing, Mia just needs to learn her manners." You say sipping the coffee. "Would you like some food? A drink?"
"Umm I'll take a coffee thanks." Kendall smiles as you get up.
Kendall looks you up and down while you have your back to him.
"Are you heading to the beach later?" Kendall asks noticing your blue bikini through your top.
"I was thinking about taking Mia there since I haven't been there in such a long time." You reply as you reach on your tippy toes grabbing the sugar and coffee from the top shelf.
Kendall watches you when you reach for it; your shirt slightly comes up showing some skin, Kendall bites his lip as he stares at your body and how your ass works those shorts.
"Did you um need a hand?" Kendall asks looking away.
"Nah, it's all good." You say grabbing the sugar and coffee. "I make coffee for the people in this house sometimes and since I'm short I get used to never reaching."
Kendall and you both laugh as you hand him the coffee...
