James Maslow: Chances PT 7

Carlos looks at his food before coughing awkwardly; you glare at Carlos as James stands.

"James, this is Kendall and Kendall, this is James." You say as James and Kendall shake each other's hands.

"Her boyfriend." Kendall nods as he removes his hand from James' grip as James looks at you.

You move your eyes to the ground not wanting to meet James' sad eyes.

"Oh yeah, she mentioned she had a boyfriend..."James manages to say looking back at Kendall.

You look at James as Kendall looks down at you.

"Uh so what are you doing here?" You ask as Carlos death stares Kendall.

"Here for dinner, I hope Carlos doesn't mind." Kendall smirks as Carlos stands.

"Actually, I do; so leave before I call the cops." Carlos says as you roll your eyes.

"Guys don't do this again; Carlos sit down and Kendall, let's take this talk outside." You say gently pushing back on Kendall's chest moving him back as you walk forwards.

Kendall rolls his eyes mad and pushes your hand off his chest.

"This is bullshit! I'm your boyfriend and I can't even stay for dinner because of him!" Kendall yells at you pointing to Carlos as Carlos pins Kendall to the wall holding him by his collar.

"You touch her, you hurt her, I WILL kill you." Carlos says tightening his grip around Kendall's shirt.

Kendall breathes heavier as Carlos's fists grow tighter; you grab Carlos' arms trying to pull him off Kendall.

"Carlos, let him go!" You manage to push Carlos off him while Carlos death stares Kendall who now is standing there with fear in his eyes.

"I...I should go, I'll call you." Kendall says quickly kissing your cheek before leaving.

You look at James and Carlos.

"I...might call Sam and Logan, I wanna talk about a few things." You say before making your way out the back door.

James looks at Carlos as Carlos watches you walk out.

"I hate that guy." Carlos says looking at James.

"YN seems so different, she's so sweet and he seems aggressive." James said.

Carlos sits back down.

"Yeah, he does that's one reason I don't like him." Carlos says eating some more food. "I just don't trust him, I don't trust a lot of guys that YN brings home because she's beautiful and young, I just don't want a jerk to hurt her since she doesn't deserve it."

James nods understanding.

"Just wondering, why are they still dating if they're completely different?" James asks.

"Maybe she's scared to leave him or maybe cause he was there for her with her mom..." Carlos drifts off as he looks back at his food.

James looks at Carlos before looking at the back door.

"I'm going to talk to YN." James says walking out the door.

You're sitting by the pool with your feet in the water staring at the water; James rolls up the ends of his jeans and sits beside you dipping his feet in.

"Sam and Logan agree to come over?" James asks gently kicking his feet.

You nod, glancing at James.

"Sorry I didn't mention I had a boyfriend..." You start as James' interrupts you.

"Nah, I should've realized a girl like you wouldn't of been single before falling for a taken woman." He says looking at his feet. "I'm happy for you, I am just odd choice in guy."
