"Good morning Em." I smile, walking out to his car. It's his first day back after a few weeks. He was gone, came back and ignored us and then left school again.
"Hey Little Swan." He smiles.
"Excited to be back at school?" I ask him.
"School sucks." He says grumpily, "But I'm ready."
We walk to the car and get in.
"And you're not going to ignore me like Jake and Quil?" I ask him.
"Never again." He smiles, "Are you going to sit with me, Paul and Jared at lunch? You won't be the only girl there. Jared's impr-, girlfriend, sits with us also."
"I'd love too but I made new friends." I smile softly, "Plus Jake really hates them so it makes me feel like I have an upper hand."
"You're a horrible person." Embry chuckles.
"That's what I aim for." I nod.

We get to school and pull up right as Jake and Quil get there. I smirk and flip my hair over my shoulder. Embry just chuckles at my actions and follows me to my locker.
"How many classes do we have together? I forgot." Embry asks.
"Um three or four I think." I answer not really remembering.
"Okay and you're not sitting with us at lunch? Because you know Paul, he's an asshole and he actually likes you so you should be honored that we want you to sit with us." Embry boasts.
"Thanks for the invite but I'm okay Regina George." I laugh.
"Fine." He pouts.
When we walk to class, Jake won't even look at me. I roll my eyes and plop down in the seat in front of him. My new friend Maggie is on my left and Embry sits in front of me.
Jake looks pissed off when he sees Embry. I don't know why Jake is so against Sam Uley but I also don't know why Embry is so close to Sam. It's like a cult and Sam is the leader.
