Ellie:

"The Cullens? Vampires? You're serious right?" I snort.

"Think about it El, have you ever seen them eat? They're abnormally cold..." Jake trails off, "Their eyes are gold!"

"Holy shit." I whisper, "Does Bella know?"

Jake sighs, "Yes. That's why she went to Italy, to save him from exposing himself."

I stare at Jake, anger building up in my gut, "And you didn't think to tell me?!" I yell at him.

"What?" Jake asks me, looking confused.

"You knew Bella was dating a vampire and you didn't tell me? You really didn't think I should know? What am I, too weak?" I yell at him.

"Ellie stop." Jake snaps, "You think I did that just for shits and giggles? I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to get dragged in to this world like Edward did to Bella! I'm sorry you felt left out but it's for your own good.

I don't say anything because I know that Jake is probably right and I know that when he puts his mind to something, that's it.

"Everything I've done since I imprinted on you was to protect you." He continues, "I know you're pissed at me, I know that you probably hate me for ignoring you, having a momentary lapse of judgement with choosing Bella, putting you through hell but this is it baby, I'm all in. I want wake up next to you. I want to eventually marry you and have kids. I want to grow old with you. Please let me in. I know I've made mistakes but I'm done. You're it."

I don't say anything. This is just too much for me to say anything. Instead, I hug Jake. I just hug him. The last few months have been crazy and I just need someone to hold me. Jake immediately wraps his arms around me.

"Who knows that we're, um, soulmates?" I ask him.

"The whole pack." He mumbles.

I sigh, wishing I had known sooner.

"They love you, you know that right? The pack I mean." Jake tells me.

"I know. I'm the wolf girl and Bella is the vampire girl." I tell him, laughing softly.

"Yeah I guess so." Jake chuckles.

We walk back to the house and everyone stares at us when we walk in, staring at us like they're waiting for one of us to say something.

"So... You guys turn into giant ass wolves?" I ask awkwardly.

Embry runs up and hugs me. I start laughing.

"You fucking asshole!" I laugh, "You didn't tell me!"

"I'm sorry!" He pouts.

Then I turn to Paul, "And you, now I know why you became a relationship guru! You twat!"

Paul just looks down, "I, um, it wasn't my place you tell you."

"It's okay. You're still my best friend." I tell him, "but anything else I should now about?"

Everyone stares at me.

"I'm serious! Anything at all?" I ask them.

"Um, not that I can think of." Embry says and everyone shakes their heads.

"And you will tell me if anything else happens, right?" I ask them, raising my eyebrows.

The boys nod their heads.

"I'm glad we're clear." I tell them contently, "Thank you for dinner Emily. It was lovely. I will see you all later."

And with that, I leave. I feel so empowered, like I'm back to old me and it feels amazing. It's like taking a long shower after working out.

Jake is still standing in the doorway.

I raise my eyebrows, "You coming?"

"Y-yes!" Jake stutters.

"Good." I smirk and then we both leave together.
