So here's chapter six... Enjoy!
Sydney's POV
"Tess?!" I asked.
Oh my gosh, I can't believe I forgot, I'm such a bad friend! How could I have forgotten that my best friend was coming back from her vacation in Hawaii? This is so awkward!
"Sydney Olivia Ramsey, I cannot believe you didn't tell me, your best friend, that you're dating a hunk!" she shouts out loud.
I scramble up from the couch, my hair probably looking like a huge mess, and I go hug her. Well more like tackling her to the ground. "I'm so sorry, I forgot you were coming and this isn't what it looks like, please forgive me!" I cry into her shoulder, squeezing her tightly.
"Um, I didn't think it was polite to just barge into someone's house, have you ever heard of knocking?" I hear Hunter ask from behind me. Crap. "Oh, and by the way, that was exactly what it looked like, we were making out and she enjoyed it."
I just stood there completely shocked, I didn't know what to say. I did like the kiss and honestly, I wanted to do it again.
When my senses finally started coming back to me, I saw Hunter walking towards me. He gently lifted my chin and quickly pecked my lips. "I'll see you later, gorgeous," he says huskily before leaving my house. What the hell...?
So currently Tess and I are sitting on my bed eating junk food. I told her about Hunter and she told me about her magazine shoot in Hawaii. She was gone for two weeks. She was a model for some teen magazine. I swear, she perfect in every way. She's beautiful, the nicest person ever (but can be equally scary), and she's reliable. I'm so glad she's my best friend. The only thing that sucks is that I don't go to school with her, she's home schooled since she models. But I will admit, it is pretty cool when I get to tell people that I'm best friends with Tessa Murphy.
"Oh. Em. GEE!" Tess squeals in my ear. "I cannot believe you guys are together!"
"We're not together, I just told you that," I say rolling my eyes at her.
"It sure didn't seem like that," she says winking at me.
"He came onto me-"
"And you didn't seem to mind," she cuts me off, smirking at me.
I shake my head, "You're impossible, you just don't get it."
She takes out her glasses and puts them on. "Sid, I'm your best friend, I know everything about you. I think I would know when you liked someone-"
"I don't like him!"
"That's what you said about Maso-"
"Don't," I cut her off and go downstairs. I hear her following quickly behind me.
"I-I'm sorry, Sid, I didn't mean to," she apologizes.
I turn around and hug her, I'm glad she's here, I needed her. "I just don't want it to happen again, what if he hurts me?"
"I won't let that happen, I'll kill him if he hurts you," she says a little too seriously.
"But what if you and him-" I began before she cut me off.
