Sydney's POV
So it's back to my normal life with normal days going back to normal school. But there's a twist...
I'm Hunter Rory's girlfriend...
I smiled at that fact as soon as I woke up this morning... I officially love Mondays...
SIKE!
I wish I could have woken up like that but sadly, no, I woke up from Maya trying to blow dry her hair.
I grumpily get up and go to the bathroom. "Do you know what time it is??" I whisper yell.
"Yup, 5:45 am," she says, turning the hair dryer off. I take a close look at the hair dryer...it was mine!
"So you mean to tell me that you came into MY room and used MY hair dryer and woke ME up?"
"Yeah, pretty much. Don't worry, I'll let you use it when I'm done... You have crazy bed head right now.." SHE HAS NERVE FOR SAYING THAT TO ME.
I march back to my room and jump back into bed, at least I can get fifteen more minutes of sleep.
1 hour and a half later...
"Sydney, wake up!" Dean says trying his hardest to shake me.
"Dean, I'm trying to get a few extra minutes of sleep!" I say, placing the pillow on top of my face.
"But is 7:15," he says.
I jump out of bed. "WHAT??!" I can't help but shout. I quickly get up and sprint to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I tie my hair into a messy bun and throw on a sweatshirt and some leggings. I quickly grab my bag and my converse and run out the door.
I watch my mom and Dean drive off to take him to school. She left me! First no one wakes me up and then she just leaves me!
And the mother of the year award goes to...
I take out my phone and see that it's 7:45. Great. I'm gonna be late.
I begin walking when I hear a car honk at me. Thinking its some perv, I turn around and give them the finger.
"Oh no, did I do something wrong already? We just started dating," Hunter says to me from inside his car. Oh thank goodness, it's just him.
I hop in his car and put on my seatbelt. The cars not moving. "Um hello? Why aren't you driving?"
"You didn't give me a good morning kiss," he states.
"Seriously Hunter?? We're gonna be late!"
"Oh well," he says reaching to take the keys out of the ignition.
I roll my eyes, "Ugh! Fine!" I reach over to give him a peck, but he pulls me so I can't move and keeps the kiss going. After a few seconds I pull away. "Now drive."
He smirks at me and begins driving. I've got to admit, so far that's been the best part of my day. "Oh, I forgot to say you look gorgeous," he smiles at me.
I smile to myself. He's a sweetheart.
We arrived at school just on time and when it was lunch time I was greeted by Daisy. "It feels like I haven't seen you in forever," she tells me while giving me a hug.
"I know, last week was a crazy week," I tell her honestly.
She has one of her devious smirks on her face. Oh no. "Someone's birthday is coming up next month!"
"Oh yeah! I honestly forgot I'm gonna be sixteen," I'm not gonna lie, but I'm pretty excited to turn sixteen.
"You're going to have the best sweet sixteen!" She says jumping up and down.
I feel someone swing their arm around my shoulder. "I am invited to your sweet sixteen, right babe?" Hunter smirks down at me.
I give him a quick kiss. "I mean it's only right that I have my boyfriend at my own party."
Daisy's eyes widen. "Wait- BOYFRIEND? You two are dating??"
We both look at each other, smile, then nod. She looks like she's about to faint and I laugh at her. "Calm down, why is it so hard to believe?" I chuckle.
"It's not, it's just that.. I mean-wow! I ship it!!" She claps.
The bell rings and Daisy gives me one last hug before going to her class. Hunter decides to walk me to class.
"I'm gonna give you the best birthday present ever, gorgeous," Hunter says confidently.
"You're setting my expectations high," I tell him.
"Did you ever meet the person your dad wanted to introduce to you guys?" he asks.
I forgot about that. "No, he didn't actually. Guess I'll just meet them another time."
Hunter's POV
When school was done I decided to take my girlfriend out to get some pizza. Jesus, I love saying that.
"What kind of pizza do you want?" I ask her.
"Pepperoni!" She shouts with glee.
I order one large pepperoni pie to go. We take the pizza and walk to the park to eat there.
We sit underneath a tree. We both dig into the delicious pizza. Once we finished we talked for what seemed like hours.
"I'm gonna go throw this pizza box away," I tell her.
"Okay," she smiles at me.
"I won't be gone long, I just need to find a garbage can," I give her a kiss on her cheek and run off to look for a garbage.
When I come back I see a guy standing in front of Sydney and she looks scared. I quickly run over to her.
"Is there a problem?" I say giving an intimidating stare at this guy.
He looks away from Sydney and smiles at me. "No, not at all," and he walks away.
I turn to Sydney. "Did he do anything to you? What did he say?" I hurriedly ask her. I can see her shaking. "Sydney, tell me!"
"It's nothing," she says quietly and hugs me. "Please, just, don't leave me again."
I hug her back tightly and realize that she was scared, and if she didn't want to tell me now then she doesn't have to.
After I drive her home I think long and hard about what everyone has said to me. They've all been saying Sydney had a hard past and that I can't hurt her...
What happened to you, gorgeous?
I know this chapter was pretty short and boring but I had a lot of noise around me so hopefully the next chapter is better.
Until the next chapter..
