Sydney's POV

"I am NOT wearing that!" I tell Tess as she passes me a fluffy pink dress.

"Aw come on, you only have a sweet sixteen once," she protested. So currently we are out dress shopping for my sweet sixteen if you hadn't noticed. It's not going too well...

I shake my head at her. "Tess, I refuse to wear that," I state.

"I honestly wish I wore sweat pants to my sweet sixteen," Daisy states.

"I want to wear sweats!" I demand to Tess.

I feel two strong arms wrap around me, embracing me in a bear hug. I guess that means Hunter was done walking around with Cody. "I don't care what you wear gorgeous, you'll look sexy in anything," he says as he's nuzzling into the crook of my neck.

Cody walks over to Tess and slings an arm around her. "Aw man, I feel left out! Why am I the only one without a guy!" Daisy complains.

"Oh yeah! Tell us about your guys' date," I say to Cody and Tess. I see Tess blushing and Cody scratches the back of his neck.

"Uh-er-um-That's not important now! Stop trying to change the subject, pick out a dress!" She says quickly. Yeah, I'm the one changing the subject...

I look around for a bit but still find nothing. I'm almost convinced that I should just give up and stay at home eating ice cream for my birthday. I see Hunter looking like he's in deep thought. "Come on, we can check other stores another day and we still have a little less than a month," he says out loud.

"Okay fine," Tess says looking irritated. "I mean you'd think that asking the model would be the smart thing to do but-"

Daisy cuts her off, "Okay little miss model, but this is going to be Sid's party." I smile at her, she's more chill about this stuff.

"Let's just go and-" Tess begins, but Hunter cuts her off.

"Sorry, Tessa, but I'm sorry to tell you that Sydney will be coming with me to my house," he says smirking.

"I am?" I asked not aware of this.

"But we need to-" she begins again.

Cody cuts her off this time. "Shh it's okay babe, let's go grab something to eat, okay?" He says softly into her ear obviously soothing her.

Daisy just looks at us all. "So I'll be heading home I guess, seeing as I don't have a boyfriend," she mumbles under her breath before walking away. Poor thing. Oh well, she'll get over it.

Harsh? Just a little? Oops.

Hunter's POV

I drive us to my place and we head upstairs. We both sit down on my bed. I sit there just staring at her deep in thought.

"What is it?" She asks shyly. She's so cute, I swear.

"I was just wondering about you," I say as I look into her big brown eyes.

Her eyebrows crease and she frowns. "What about me?" She asks confused.

"Tell me something," I begin, "who was your first kiss?" As much as it'll annoy me to know who got to kiss her lovely soft plump lips before me, I just gotta know.

I see her stiffen and her face is hard. She looks down at her hands and avoids eye contact with me. "Sydney?"

"I'm gonna go get some water," she says getting up, I grab her arm and stop her.

Something's up with her, something bad, and I need to know what's making my girlfriend so afraid. "Gorgeous, talk to me. I need to know what happened to you-"
