Chapter Nineteen (The Sweet Sixteen Part 1)

FINALLY! I decided to write a few chapters today because I'm staying home from school.
This is part one out of three, chapter nineteen is going to be quite long.

Sydney's POV

The party's absolutely amazing and I'm loving everything about it. But something's wrong... I can't find Hunter. I look around everywhere and eventually go into the bathrooms and I cannot believe what I'm witnessing...

It's her. She's here, at MY party...

And she's making out with Hunter...

"How could you?" I whisper. Then he smirks at me, he has the nerve to smirk at me! "How could you!" I yelled before running out of the bathroom.

I ran out of the building and onto the streets crying my eyes out while shouting, "How could you!"

As I'm running I could hear him calling me, he's chasing me...but I keep running.

"Sydney, wake up!" Hunter says hugging me. I open my eyes and feel myself shaking. I feel my cheeks and realize that they're soaked in my tears. My head is against my boyfriend's chest and his shirt is drenched from my tears.

"It happened again, didn't it?" I asked.

"Yes, and I'm starting to get worried... Do you not trust me or something? Please, just tell me," Hunter says while rubbing my back. I've been having this same nightmare for the past month about my birthday party.

"You know I trust you with all my heart, Hunter, but I'm just scared," I tell him honestly. I'm known to have nightmares a lot, but this one keeps coming back every night, and I want it to go away.

He frowns at me, "It's okay babe, come here." He pulls me into a hug. It feels like I can just hug him for years and never let go. After what feels like centuries but is probably just minutes, he puts something on my lap.

I give him a confused look. "You didn't have t-"

"Part one of your birthday presents, you're spending the whole day with me until it's time for your party," he smiles at me.

"But Hunter-"

In his husky and low voice he softly sings, "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to my gorgeous girlfriendddd happy birthday to you."

I smile and then rip off the wrapping paper that surrounds my gift. I look at it in awe, it's so cute and so creative and that's what makes it so special.
It's a collage of all the pictures of Hunter and I that we've taken so far. From goofy selfies to full blown "photo shoots".

I quickly get up, put the picture frame on my bed and run into the bathroom.

"What the? Where are you going? It's not like you need to puke cause it's that bad!" He calls after me.

"I'm going to brush my teeth so I can shower you in a million kisses for the best present ever!" I call back.

I can hear the smirk in his voice. "Oh, I like the sound of that.. I'm getting present on YOUR birthday... but remember this is just part one gorgeous..."

When I run back in we...you know...kiss and do cootie things and stuff...

Okay what am I saying? We made out, that's all.

We go downstairs together and I'm greeted by my siblings, both older and younger. "Happy birthday Sydney!" They all call out.

They're the cutest and the best siblings anyone could ever ask for. They all pitched in to help make me a nice breakfast. As I laugh and listen to how even Dean got to help by pouring the orange juice, Alison hands me a card.

I open it. It's from my mother..

Happy 14th birthday Sydney

Well she didn't get the age right but at least she remembered the actually day, and just the fact that she knew that made me happy.

Hunter's POV

After she finished enjoying her breakfast, I took her to the park. I wanted everyone to say their happy birthday wishes now so I could have the best time with her before the party.

We were greeted by our close friends. Cole, Tessa, Daisy, Rosie, Mickey, and Catherine all run to gorgeous and squeeze her into a big group hug.

I can't help but smile, she looks so happy and her smile looks so real. I'd give anything to always keep that smile on her face.

"So what do you guys wanna do?" I ask out loud but in reality I'm only asking my girlfriend.

She starts jumping up and down from excitement. "I want to play tag-ooh or hide and seek!" She giggles.

"Let's do both, we'll play hide and seek tag," Cody suggests.

Sydney giggles at me says, "Come and find me." Before running away to look for a hiding place.

We ended up playing for two hours nonstop, and let me just tell you, I made some memories in those two hours that I'm never gonna forget. 

"Okay guys, I need to steal my girlfriend for the rest of the day, so we'll see you at the party later," I say taking her hand in mine. She blows kisses at everyone and we walk back to my car.

"Where are we going now?" She asks with a big smile on her face. I never knew she had dimples.

I look at her seriously, "Are you enjoying your day?"

"Of course I am! Now tell me what happens next!" She says excited. I smile, kiss her cheek, and begin driving to part two of her birthday present.

Yaaaaay finally after a freaking month! My stomach is killing me because I have a stomach infection and I've been taking probiotics but you guys probably don't care haha. This is part one out of three and I'm debating if I should leave you all hanging for the next two parts or if I should also post them within the next day or two...
