Please don't hate me for this chapter, but here comes drama...

Sydney's POV

I didn't know if I should find the situation funny or absolutely terrifying, because when I got into the car there was an unconscious boy in the backseat.

"Um why is there a guy in the backseat...?" I awkwardly asked Hunter.

"Oh him? He's uh-" he stopped when he saw my slightly worried expression and then a smirk appeared on his face. "He's just one of my little victims that I beat the crap out of and now I have to hide the body," he said nonchalantly.

I shrieked, "What?!?"

He bursts out laughing, "Oh my gosh! You should have seen your face!!"

My face goes red from anger and embarrassment and I just give him the finger before turning to face the window. After a few seconds I turn back to face him and his laughter's died down.

He stops at a red light and turns to look at me as he cups my cheek. I immediately look down and I feel my cheeks heat up. Why the hell am I blushing around this guy?

"Hey," he says as he lifts my chin up. "I'm sorry for laughing at you, you're just so cute." I blush even more if possible. His eyes flicker down to my lips and I do the same to his. He leans in and I feel his soft lips on mine and the feeling of electricity takes over my body.

"The light is green," a muffled voice says. Shocked we both turn and see the boy laying on his face. I still haven't seen him, only his body. "And get a room," he quickly mumbled.

Hunter resumes driving and I continue to look out the window with a big smile plastered on my face.

I've been having butterflies for the entire morning, and it's not even eight o'clock. It felt so weird yet so good when I was with Hunter, especially when we kissed. Maybe I'm starting to like him...

No. You can't. He's a player and all he does is uses girls to his advantage, you could be another one if you fall into his trap.

But then again I haven't really seen him with any other girl besides me, so he can't be that bad right?

My thoughts were interrupted when the car door was being opened for me. I look up and see Hunter smiling down at me. Wow, was he actually being a gentleman? Once I get out the car I awkwardly rub my arm and look down at the ground. "Thanks," I say before trying to walk off.

He grabs my arm to prevent me from leaving. "Where are you going?" He asked with a confused look on his face.

"To class," I reply, still trying to get out of his grasp.

"Hey uh gorgeous, can I ask you something?" He asks scratching the back of his neck nervously.

Oh no. He can't. He isn't. Please tell me he isn't! Is he going to ask me out? What am I suppose to say???

"Shoot," I tell him, trying to remain calm.

"I was wondering, do you wanna-"

"I can't," I blurted out without realizing it.

"You can't what?" he asks as he carefully waits for my response.

"I-I can't go out with you, I don't like you like that..." Lies. All lies. I carefully look up at him and see his expressionless face, but his eyes looked like they were filled with hurt. Before he could say anything I ran off into the building.
