Becareful what you wish for

The school bell rang to signal the end of the day. "Remember the homework is due tomorrow." Mrs Murphy said being totally ignored. As I exited the room I found myself getting pushed around by the sea of pupils in the hallway. Struggling to get anywhere for a while I finally reach my locker. "How was math Fang?" Dwayne said as I was getting my things out of my locker.

"Boring as usual." I replied.

"Yeah science wasn't that fun either." He said as we walked out of school.

"Life gets pretty boring. Don't you think." I randomly said.

"What do you mean exactly?" Dwayne asked.

"You know everyday is just the same. I just want some excitment, something to happened in my life."
"Well you know you should be careful what you wish for." Dwayne said but I stopped listening to him and directed all my attention to Amelia White. She had long beautiful blond hair and blue eyes. She's the girl I've had a crush on for a while.

"Hey, hey Fang." Dwayne said.

"Huh what." I said.

"Looking at her won't make a difference you know." Dwayne said smiling.

"Shut up." I said. We laughed and then got onto out boards and skated until we were blocked by Max and his friends Tony and Shane. He's that high school bully that never gets lost and keeps annoying you.

"Sup little monkey." He said to Dwayne just coz he was black. Racist idiot but I couldn't do anything I was just the weak kid who could just watch.

"And you." Max pointed at me. "Stop staring at my girl or I'm gonna beat the hell out of you. You know what." Max grabbed Dwaynes board and snapped it. He was gonna grab my board but fortunately for me Amelia stopped him. "You won't be so lucky next time." Max walked off.

The walk home was full of silence. When we got to Dwaynes house I told him I would get him a new one but he remained silent. I then went home but I was in for a shock when I got home.

Police cars were in front of my house and there was a man sized hole in my window so I went in to examine the situation. I went in to see my mum sitting on a chair crying. I go to her and then turn to see what seems to be a crime scene. As I got closer my mind was filled with fear and I didn't want to belive what I saw. "Dad no!" I said to myself looking down at my dads dead body. I tried to get closer but the police men held me back. This is what I get for wishing something would happen in my life.
