The unexpected

Dwayne and I were walking home when Dwayne brought up something. "You know Amelia is single now aye."

"Yeah." I said.

"What do you mean yeah. I thought you had a huge crush on her."

"You really think she would date me."

"You don't know that." As we were walking I saw Amelia across the street. She caught me staring and smiled, I looked behind me to see if she was smiling at someone else but it was me so I smiled back. "Did you see that she smiled at me."

"She also caught you staring at her like you were a stalker." Dwayne said as he laughed.

"Shut up." I said.

"Why do you have a crush on her."

"What's not to like about her. The long blond hair, the blue eyes, the fact she is so kind."

"Okay okay." Dwayne said interrupting. We got to Dwayne's house and then I skated the rest of the way home. Feels like de ja vu but at least this time when I got home nothing bad happened I went home and went straight up to my room.

Sitting on my bed I started to do my math homework while thinking about what Mr Miller said. If I did he'd probably beat me up everytime he saw me like properly because he lives close to me but then again the school would be a better place. I know alot of people who have been bullied by Max. The thought was stressing me out so I finished my work and then took a walk outside to clear my mind.

There was a woods near my house so I walked in there. I used to come here alot but that was sometime ago. But there was one thing I didn't forget, there was a part of the woods where there was an open space with one tree and that tree had a low long branch to sit on Dwayne and I made a little den there.

I went to the den and sat on the branch thinking about all the fun times me and Dwayne used to have here. I heard a twig snap suddenly and the sound of leaves getting stepped on. I didn't mind it this was a public place after all. The foot steps got closer and so I looked and behind me walking was a wolf not a dog that looked like a wolf a proper wolf.
