The Beast Inside

The new girl

My eyes were glued shut but suddenly I heard Maxs claws hit something that wasn't me. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the claws getting blocked by a blue steel fan. It was a normal hand held fan but it has steel spikes coming out of it.

I looked to who the owner was and it was a girl but her eyes were covered by what seemed to look like the paper that they used to wrap mummy's in ha toilet paper. Her hair was brown and reletivly long. She looked at Max and then did a flip and kicked the hand that was holding me. I dropped to the floor and started breathing fast.

Max went to hit the girl but then she suddenly turned into a bat, flew around a bit to annoy him and then tuned back and kicked him in the chest. "You better cover your ears for the next part." The girl said. Without question I covered my ears and Max just started to walk up to the girl but she just screamed and that made Max fly back. It was pretty loud I could hear it and it was painful. I think the fact she could turn into a bat made her have the ability to screech really loud.

Max looked badly injured and so he turned bear and ran off. The girl started to walk off. "Thank you." I said standing up slowly while holding my stomach in pain. "You know for saving me." She looked at me and then looked away again and just turned bat and flew off. So I slowly made my way home.

The next day I was feeling almost better my whole body still hurt a little. When I got to school I found out there was a new girl in our class. "Would you like to come to the front and tell us a bit about yourself." Mr Miller said.

"Okay" She said in a soft voice. She came to the front she had brown hair that was braided. She had glasses on and a stick which made it clear she was blind. "Um my name is Rose Clark and before coming to Florida I used to live in North Carolina." She said.

"Anything else." Mr Miller asked. "Something about you. Maybe a favourite animal."

"Um my favorite animal is a bear. Because my brother loved bears and he told me a lot about them." She explained.

"That's nice. Now who wants to show Rose around you know be with her for the first week or so and help her make friends." I looked around and no one put their hands up so I shot a look at Dwayne. He shrugged his shoulders and gave a face that said if you want. I then looked back at Mr Miller and then put my hand up. "Ah Fang okay thank you for voluntering" There was a seat next to me that was free. Rose that down and gave me a smile.
