The Beast Inside

I woke up but everything was blurry. I could just make out the whole lair but it was destroyed. There was a loud ringing in my ear  but I still heard a faint cry from Rose calling my name. I looked at her still everything blurry she was shaking me and crying. I couldn't move and suddenly I was out aga...

I woke up in a dark room, now standing. There was no ringing in my ears and my vision was fine. "Hello." I said as the place echoed my voice. "Anyone there."

"Fang nice to see you." A scary evil voice said.
"Come out who said that." I said looking around.
"Don't worry it's just me." The voice said as he came out of the darkness. The thing that came out was a horrifying beast. It had the head of a cheetah but with wolf eyes. It's whole body from neck to toe was wolf like but it was standing on two feet. And to finish it off it had giant eagle wings on it's back.
"What the hell are you."
"What am I? Well I'm you. Well the beast inside you anyway." It replied.
"You you've been taking control of me."
"Yeah pretty much. But don't blame this on me you let me."
"Where am I."
"Inside."
"Inside? Inside what."
"Inside your brain the darkest part of it. The part I created because you let me."
"Alright I get it I made you."
"Yeah you did and because of that that old guy is dead." Shock over wealmed me.
"What old guy."
"You know wise guy. Owl."
"You didn't." I clenched my fist.
"Oh no I din't you did." I unclenched and went to my knees, looking down at my hands. "You did it with those fancy claws you got." He started circling me. "Yeah that's right think about what you done. Your no 'hero' your just a kid that thought he could be one. You don't have to go back though you can just live a normal life." I looked at him. "That is until I take control over your whole brain and CONTROL YOU FOREVER. I WILL KILL EVERYONE YOU LOVE AND THEN THE WHOLE WORLD!" He shouted before doing the most evil laugh I ever heard.

"I will never let you do that. I will destroy you before you do that." I said as I got up and ran at him. As I jumped I went right through him.
"You can't destroy me the only way your getting rid of me is by controlling me and you'll never be able to do that." His sharp fangs came out and he tried to bite me. I rolled to the side but he was ready for that and he punched me in the stomach making me fly back into an invisible wall. As I hit I woke up.

I looked around, the lair was still a mess. I looked down and saw Rose asleep on my chest. As I sat up she woke up. "Huh Fang. FANG." She wrapped her arm around my neck.  "Your alive Fang." I smiled and said "Yeah I knew that already." She looked at me and tears started coming down her cheeks. I wiped them and we started to have a moment until. "Um can you get off of me now your kinda hurting my knees."
"Oh yeah sorry." Rose said.
I got up and walked up to the guardian. Who had a huge claw mark going through his chest. "Did he say anything before he died."
"3 words. Take the orb. But Fang are you still."
"Yes Rose Im going back to it. I'm going back to being 'A HERO'."
