Roses not so long lost brother

I ran home to tell Rose. We had to finish this we'll just skip school tomorrow but we have to stop Dexter.

I bursted in a saw Rose. She quickly put her hands behind her back. "Rose." I said catching my breath. "They took him. Joe." I said. "Wait what's that behind your back."

"Huh what." Rose said.

"I can see there's something behind your back." I said.

"No no what were you talking about. Joe." Rose said nervously.

"Seriously what is it." I said.

"Nothing!" She said. I walked up to her and tried grabbing it. She backed away and a case fell out of her hands. I quickly slid on the ground and grabbed it. Rose jumped onto me. 'No don't open it." She said trying to grab it out of my hand. I opened it up while rose was on my back. I opened it and it was a injection with the cure in it.

"What the hell are you doing with this." I said. Rose got off of me.

"Fang there's something I haven't been telling you." She said.

"Really wanna explain." I said.

"Fine. The thing is you know all the stories I've tolDexter.about how I was adopted and the parents had no time for me so my 'brother' was my only friend."

"Yeah" I said.

"Well that brother was... Max." She said.

"What." This didn't make any sence but at the same time it did. Every time we fought against Max Rose has so many chances to badly hurt him but she always missed them and she got so mad at me for not helping him. It all made sense now.

"I knew we would be going back to Dexter so I got another one so we can save Max." Rose said.

"Why didn't you tell me before." I said.

"I don't know I just." Rose said.

"Forget it. Tomorow we are going back to Dexter. You do what you want with Max but I'm gonna have no part of it. My business is with Dexter.
