The Beast Inside

New threat

At school the next day I couldn't stop thinking about how Max hasn't done something to ruin my life or something. I was getting paranoid that he was planning a big plot to take me down hard. Well that's stupid I stopped thinking about it and just thought he was grounded for a long long time or something like that.

At night I decided to go out again, see if there was anything to do. I was far from finding my dad's killer so for now I could roam around saving lives and stopping crimes. I was flying through the city when I heard screaming and then saw smoke from where the screaming came from and went directly towards it.

I then landed and saw a saw a hole in a building and a lot of smoke coming out of it. Then I saw a figure coming out of it you know like in the movies. "NOW I've got you attention." Out of the smoke came a guy with a brown metal suit and a golden mask covering his mouth and nose leaving only his eyes visible.

"Can I help you sir." I said.

"You can die." He said running at me. I started dodging his punches and jumped back. He then suddenly turned into a bear and ran at me.

"Oh shit." I turned wolf and ran at him but at the last minute got out the way. I then turned back human. "What is your problem dude." I said.

"Don't you recognise me Fang." He said as he took his mask off revealing his face. It was Max.

"Max what up man." I said walking up to him. "You know I couldn't recognise you look bear different. Ha ha see what I did there." I said laughing.

"Shut your mouth." He said running to me in bear form I stayed still until the last minute when I moved out the way making Max run into a lamp post. He turned back human so I grabbed him and threw him. Then I walked up to him but this time he kicked me making me fall back. He then came to me and was about to step on my face but you quickly turned cheetah and ran off. I then turned eagle and started to take off but he caught my leg and threw me into a building.

"Okay that hurt." I said. I saw Max walking up to me and then claws came out his fingers. "Hey look you kinda like wolverine just instead of 3 you have 5 claws." I said coughing.

"Time to die. This was easy."
