IPR7 - Awkward

CHAPTER 7:

The group were having a dinner at Ibarra's Garden when the couple arrived.

"Hey dito rin pala kayo di pa tayo nagsabay-sabay." Bati ni Sam sa mga ito.

Kakatapos lang ng ASAP Rehearsals nila.

"Well ang masasabi ko lang,  bawal ang may Jowa dito. Samahan ng Singles to. Kaya dun, dun kayo." Nagbibirong sabi ni KC na may hand gestures na pinapaalis sila.

Nakita ni Sarah na nawala ang ngiti sa labi ni Jessy. Nilapitan niya ito at inaya sa tabi niya.

"Nagbibiro lang yan si Kace. Halika dito may pwesto pa."

Pinandidilatan ni KC ng lihim si Sam. Kulang na lang isigaw niyang, "Pasaway ka talaga Bes! Alam ng may  masasaktan eh!"

"Jessy, sa iba na lang tayo kumain." Pang-aaya ni Sam sa girlfriend.

"Bakit?"Inosenteng tanong ng girlfriend.

"Parang iba na yung gusto kong kainin."

"Ha. Sayang naman. Minsan ko lang makakasama si Sarah. Big honour to oh."

Nag-blush naman ang nabanggit na dalaga. "Ano ka ba? Wag ganun."

Natutuwang nginitian ni Jessy si Sarah.

Sam glanced at Sarah. He doesn't know how to show her his apologies.

"One meal won't hurt, Sam. So upo ka na. Order na!" Nakangiting sabi ni Sarah.

"Game order na! Sagot ni Popstar Princess to." Sabat ni Erik.

Hiyawan lahat.

Two girls are silently watching Sam, Sarah and Jessy. But only one of them knows what's happening behind the scene.

"GRABE! Ang bait talaga ni Sarah no. Napakahumble. Parang hindi Superstar."

Tuwang-tuwa pa din na sabi ni Jessy ng papunta na sila ng sasakyan.

"Yeah. She's that great."

"No wonder nai-inlove sa kanya mga nakakatrabaho niya." Jessy said unknowingly.

"Hon, dba nagkatrabaho kayo before. Di ka ba na-inlove sa kanya?"

Sam tried so hard to suppress his shiver with the question. Not wanting to answer but he saw that his girlfriend is waiting for his reply.

"Well I guess ours were different. She's very special to me though." He doesn't want to lie to her so he wanted to keep it like that. He prayed she will stop with this.

Jessy was not satisfied with his answer. But maybe Sam doesn't want to talk about it. So she changed the topic.

"So Hon, where do we go for our 1st  monthsary?" Jessy asked instead.

She saw him smiled a little.

"Where do you want?" Sam answered.

"Hmmm. I don't have a place in mind yet.  Let's check our schedule first. Then we'll decide."

"Ok. As you wish."

SARAH has been having a lot of sleepless nights recently.

After that night in his car, their paths never crossed until today during the rehearsals and the dinner. And they didn't exchange any messages at all. So she thought he'd figured that that's the end of it.

It hurts, yes. She loved him before but nothing like this. She managed to get over him believing that he'll never love her. Ano ba ang laban niya sa isang katulad ni Anne Curtis para mapalitan sa puso nito.

Hindi niya maintindihan noon kung bakit pakiramdam niya, hindi sila bagay.

The memory of how Sweetheart started, na ikinagulat niya nung una pati na rin ang mga titig nitong paminsan minsan ay nahuhuli niya, lahat yun itinago niya sa sulok ng puso niya.

She never knew that once she opens her heart again, these memories will emerge and cover a big part of it.

Its getting crazier everyday.

She took her ipad and open twitter.

She then saw the photos of their group's dinner.

"Awkward." She said to the photo with only the three of them are showing. She couldn't help but stare at them. At Jessy who seems to be very happy being in between Sam and her.

"She's really beautiful and kind. I can fully understand why he fell in love with her. Wala na siyang hahanapin pa," talking to herself.

Pilit niyang pinaglalabanan ang lungkot. Ayaw niyang malaman ng family niya that she is on this stage again.

She updated her status in twitter:

"For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.

Goodnight every one. Stay happy.

Then a DM popped.

"Can't sleep? Me too..."

Sam...

"I am about to sleep."

"I am sorry about earlier. I never meant to hurt you."

"I know and I understand."

Then her phone rang.

She doesn't know whether she will answer or not. But her feelings won over.

"Hello."

"Hello Sweetheart." His voice is so rasp he sounded like he's been crying.

"Hey. Are you ok? What's wrong?" Nag-aalalang tanong ni Sarah.

"Am ok. I just felt very bad today after I sent Jessy home and seeing your post."

"Sam, please.  For days we didn't have any communication at all, and we were able to be ourselves."

"Those were days of hell for me. I wanted to be with you. Seeing you so strong tonight, bearing all the pain, I just want to hold you in my arms and tell you everything is gonna be ok."

"You shouldn't be doing this. I told you we can't hurt her like that. You're so stubborn." She pleaded to him.

"I can't stay away from you. I love you, have always loved you."

"Please stop." Kahit gusto niyang sabihin mahal din niya ito. Pero alam niyang hindi tama."I have to go. Goodnight Sam."

"Sweetheart..." Then he heard the end call tune.

Sarah prayed to give her more strength and wisdom to go on.

SAM found it much harder to sleep.

He is so mad at himself for putting three of them at this position.

Both the girls doesn't deserve to be hurt.

Hearing his phone rang, he grab it immediately.

"Hello Sam." Ang manager nito ang nasa kabilang linya.

"Yes, Sir Eric."

"You need to come to my office tomorrow. We got things to talk about."

Sam felt nervous. What could it be?

"Ok, I'll be there."
