Christmas had passed in the blink of an eye and Sofi, Camila and Lauren had spent the last couple of days together, doing all sorts of activities. Today, Sofi was leaving but they weren't too upset about it because they all knew they'd be seeing each other again soon.

New Year's Eve was only a couple of days away, and Sofi decided to leave early to spend the night with her friends and her girlfriend, so she wouldn't interfere with her sister's first New Year's kiss.

That would be a huge deal for Camila, considering how much of a hopeless romantic her sister was. She was fascinated with love, even if half the things she loved were cliché.

Lauren and Camila had kissed in front of her more than enough times. She had to admit, they were cute, but watching her sister kiss someone else made her very uncomfortable, especially when tongues and moans were involved.

She constantly had to clear her throat loudly around the two, to get them to pull apart. It was almost as if they had forgotten she was with them at times.

She shuddered at her previous thoughts, continued packing the rest of her suitcase while thinking about the past week she had in Boston. Getting to know her sister all over again and meeting someone special who was absolutely perfect for Camila in every way, was amazing.

Twenty minutes later, she wheeled her suitcase out into the living room.

"You all done, kiddo?" Lauren asked with a soft smile.

"Yeah, I think that's it." Sofi smiled back.

"Alright, let's head out then." Lauren said. She stood up from the couch, grabbed Camila's hand in one of her own and took Sofi's suitcase in the other.

"I'm just gonna say goodbye to the kitties. I'll meet you two in the car?" Sofi asked why a shy smile. She couldn't leave without one last cuddle.

Camila and Lauren just nodded and laughed before making their way down to Camila's car.

The three girls solemnly walked into the airport. They all thought they weren't upset earlier, but being here and knowing Sofi's plane would be leaving soon dampened their mood immensely.

Camila and Lauren lead the teenager over to the 'check in' area and waited until her suitcase was taken away before they gathered in a group hug. Sofi had to go to the gate in a couple of minutes so they had to say their goodbyes now, which they really didn't want to do.

Once they all pulled away, Camila hugged Sofi again tightly.

"I'm gonna miss you so much, bug." Camila said quietly, trying her best to not cry.

"Mila, don't cry please. I'll see you before you know it." Sofi started. "But, thank you for letting me stay. I had so much fun with you guys and the cats too. I finally know what a proper family feels like."

Camila just smiled and squeezed her little sister tighter before releasing her.

"I'm happy to hear that. We enjoyed having you here, huh babe?" Camila said, pulling Lauren closer to her.

"Of course. It was so lovely to meet you and you're welcome to come back anytime, okay?" Lauren offered, wrapping Sofi up in another hug before letting go.

Sofi just nodded into her shoulder and said a simple but meaningful, "thank you."

"You're welcome. I'm gonna miss you, kid." Lauren laughed and wrapped her arm around Camila's shoulders.

"I'll miss you both too! I have to go to the gate now so, I'll text you soon, Mila. I love you both." Sofi said happily, waving as she walked a few steps backwards.
