Chapter Twenty

A series of hard knocks woke the two girls up. Camila had her head on Lauren's bare chest while Lauren's arms were wrapped around her protectively and their naked legs were entangled under the sheets.

Lauren smiled, thinking about the brunette next to her. She was aware of the severe knocking on their door but chose to ignore it to keep Camila in this position a little bit longer.

Camila was doing exactly the same thing. The knocking was bothersome but being in Lauren's arms cleared all her worries away.

She was happy, absolutely blissful, to be with Lauren and she was the first person she had loved in a long time. She could see herself in it for the long run too, and that made her smile.

Lauren felt the girl underneath her move and laugh, startling Lauren.

"I know you're awake, baby." Lauren said quietly, earning a cute giggle from Camila.

"Well, I can't sleep with that asshole knocking on our door." Camila huffed. Lauren brought her finger to Camila's chin and tilted her head so she could stare into her eyes.

"Good morning, beautiful." Lauren whispered, giving her a kiss on the tip of her nose.

Camila blushed profusely and quickly buried her face in Lauren's neck.

"I hate you." She mumbled, causing Lauren to wrap her arms around her even tighter.

"I recall something different from last night...Something along the lines of you loving me." Lauren said with a smirk and Camila shoved her.

"Since when did you get so bold?" Camila asked. She leaned back to look into a pair of pretty green eyes.

"Since my cute girlfriend believed in me." Lauren said proudly. They both groaned when the knocking returned.

"You go shower and I'll answer the door." Lauren said, giving her a quick kiss before standing up regretfully and putting on a robe.

Camila smiled and rushed to the bathroom, giving Lauren a glimpse of her perfect ass.

Lauren made her way through the living room quickly and opened the door to Dinah and Normani, who pushed past her as soon as the door was opened.

"Hi?" Lauren asked, shutting the door behind them and turning around to greet the two.

"You know I can see your tits, right?" Dinah laughed, staring directly at Lauren's chest.

"They're really, really nice...Camila's lucky." Normani smirked, quickly moving away from Dinah so she wouldn't get hit.

Lauren glanced down at her chest and realised that in the time of her running to the door, she hadn't tied her robe properly. She hurriedly secured it and looked up with red cheeks at their smiling faces.

"Uh-well, thanks. Camz is in the shower, so do you want me to go get her?" Lauren asked, pointing to their bathroom. She was already walking backwards, wanting to leave their presence as soon as possible so she could calm down.

"Yeah, we have some great news!" Normani grinned, pulling Dinah along with her to sit on the couch.

Lauren almost ran back into her room and took a deep breath. She stepped into the bathroom and admired the blurry image of her girlfriend's body before she looked away.

Yes, they had seen each other naked, but she wasn't sure if Camila would be comfortable with her blatant staring.

"Camzi?" Lauren called out softly, not wanting to startle Camila so she wouldn't slip in the shower.
